I guess its time for rossi to call moratti to get his cheque ready for paying the damages that Juve suffered in these days

and I will be more glad to see that the UEFA exclude the Italian clubs from euro's competition for years after all of these mess

So far it's just disappoitment after disappoitment. Milan's victory vs Belgrade was very annoying. I really though Belgrade could something and catch them off guard.

The Juventini are very hopeful (including the "official" ones)

Rossi and others are beginning to scramble a bit, which is certainly a good sign.

I, personally, am hopeful, because TAR is an all or nothing thing: either they accept our relegation/scudetto stripping* or they don't and they send it back. Rossi&Co then either have to start over, risking another slap in the face by TAR, or they a) forget the whole thing (unlikely) or b) compromise.

If TAR throws it back, be prepared for a mad scramble by R&Co (or equivalent) to reach a "compromise"...which will certainly mean A (minus 10 or so) and both scudi's.

*this is the hinge of the entire appeal. If they hadn't stripped 2005/6, it is entirely possible that Juve might have accepted A - a few (or even possibly B), but 2005/6 has absolutely nothing to do with this case--TAR has to realize this; heck, even Rossi&Co. must realize it.
things r looking good. Lets hope the court wouldnt get influenced by anyone anywhere. As we do have an uphill battle against us.

Thanx for the info

FIGC warn Calciopoli clubs
Wednesday 23 August, 2006
The Italian Football Federation [FIGC] have threatened Calciopoli hit clubs that they risk additional punishments should they appeal to the civil courts.

After expressing their disappointment at Juventus’ decision to appeal to the TAR Lazio civil court on Monday, FIGC officials have now opted for a more resolute position.

“In reference to the appeals discussed in front of TAR Lazio and having acknowledged the rejections of the appeals themselves, the Federation invites the clubs to limit further similar actions,” read an official statement.

“This is also in consideration of the FIFA directives, which were confirmed to the Federal Commissioner, providing disciplinary sanctions in case the justice obligation is violated.”

The Federation therefore is not willing to accept any further appeals aiming to overturn the sentences and invites the clubs to accept the verdicts handed out by the sporting tribunals.

The FIGC was pleased with the rejection of the appeal presented by Luciano Moggi and Antonio Giraudo against their five-year bans from the sport.

The former Juve directors attempted to overturn the sporting justice system’s sentences on Tuesday but with no success.

“The verdict was in our favour,” continued the FIGC statement. “Moggi and Giraudo’s appeals were aiming to obtain a suspension in the sanction inflicted by the Federal Court and were rejected.

“It is clear that there is a losing party and a winning party, the precautionary phase can now be considered closed.”

Lazio and Fiorentina have also suggested that they will go to the TAR should their CONI conciliation meeting fail to see their points penalties, of minus 11 and 19 respectively, not be scrapped.

As it stands, Milan will also start the campaign on minus eight and Reggina have been handed a 15-point penalty.

i say vaffanculo to them..i hope viola and lazio appeal as well so that we r not the only ones who would get punished if the going got tough. But i have a feeling that CONI would give something to both of them

"FIFA has sent a letter to FIGC (Italian football federation) saying that if Juventus appeals to TAR, all Italian teams, including national teams and clubs will be banned from all competitions (I saw this on tv news)."

This is great news :D

First everyone ruined Juve, now Juve is gonna ruin everyone. Serves them right!

I want to inform you that another association of Juventus fans (together with the other one I had already told in another post) will support Juve in her appeal to TAR. The association is named "DifendiAMOlaJuve", and I have already given to them a contribution and now I am an associated "tricolore". The aim is to obtain from TAR that the farcical sentences of Guidomerdo Rossi and his gang are CANCELED. I don't know if we will reach this goal, but at least we are trying. If you are interested you can visit the site www.j1897.com/forum/ The site is completely in italian, so unreadable for many of you, but at least you can have an idea of the "army" that is going to fight and hopefully cut the head of shit-man Rossi...

Vinnie don't worry, what could they possibly do? Revoke it?

they could:

- Revoque the WC title
- Bann Italy from Fifa competitions.(No Eurocup)
- Ban Italian clubs from Fifa competitions (No UEFA, no CL)
- Ban Juventus especificly from any Fifa tournament.

Fifa can do whatever they want, sadly.

On paper perhaps....but I think its improbable that they will actually punish Italy as a nation...we as Juventus could get a ban though...

Juventus threatened with more sanctions

ROME (Reuters) - The Italian football federation wrote to FIFA on Wednesday saying it would impose extra sanctions on Juventus if the club turn to a civil court to try to overturn their relegation after a match-fixing scandal.

The letter, confirmed by the Italian federation (FIGC), said FIGC would not "hesitate to launch the sanction process" if Juve lodge an appeal with the regional Lazio court, as they have said they will.

FIGC said Juve have not yet lodged their appeal with the court.

The FIGC said that under its statute member clubs accept to abide by sports authorities' rules, forsaking their right to turn to civil courts which are outside the sports justice system.

It said it had received a letter from FIFA on Tuesday, reiterating that clubs appealing to civil courts should be punished for that.

Juve said on Monday they would appeal to the Lazio court after they failed to persuade the FIGC to overturn the relegation verdict last week.

FIFA & FIGC can suck many things, I guess...

Do you have suggestions??

they cannot revoke the WC championship...we won that even before the verdicts were announced

they can, however ban the NT from the Euro 2008 championship

lets hope it doesnt go that far, and only Milan, Inter, and Roma are banned from the CL (Chievo will be unceremoniously ejected today by a shit team from Sofia:D )...along with the UEFA Cup teams...

I could live with that !!! :D

its already a conspiracy, and the longer we fight this, the more obvious it becomes

I say we keep fighting, and let Rossi and his corrupted band of thugs/ judges/officials be the first to blink
