here's a crazy thought (and someone please correct me if my info is wrong)..

if Juve goes to TAR ( win or lose), then all Italian teams are out of European championships ??

I have a feeling you may see , rather quickly, the FIGC meeting again with Juve to reinstate them to Serie A with a points penalty, without going to TAR

I think Moratti/Rossi will have to buckle under the circumstances, and also add the pressure they will feel from good 'ol Silvio....this can work in our favor
were did you get that from ???

i think the thing with this is about whether we succeed or not.Cuz if we succeed then there would be a precedent(even if its not direct or binding) in europe and the world that could be used in court. Imo thats why we r facing an uphill task in succeeding in this appeal, as noboy from the FIGC to the Fifa want something like this to happen. If we succeed it could lead into chaos in football, something like the Bosman Ruling.

Anyway from our perspective i think if we succeed or if the FIGC offer us a deal,it would be like the wat Tifoso and Isha have been saying. We would be given the scudetto back and we get reinstated into serie A with a point penalty

There is already a precedent. His name is Marc Bosman.

By the way, I was watching news and said that Giraodo's and Moggi's Tar appeal was today, and by later today and tomorrow we will know if it will be accepted. According to Mediaset (Italian TV) Studio Sport, the rumour is that it will be DENIED.

You mean the CONI appeals, I guess...

Giraudo's is planned to be on the 5th of September, and Moggi's is on the seventh...

Tomorrow will be the day of Lazio...

no, hes right. the tar would probably deny the appeal of giraudo and moggi coz they've ignored rules that they should get a verdict from coni first of all

It just denied them...Do you think this is an indicator for Juve?? Or is this case is different??

Italy court rejects appeal by former Juventus officials

ROME, Aug 22 (Reuters) - An Italian court on Tuesday rejected an appeal by two former top officials of Juventus who were found guilty of sporting fraud by a soccer tribunal which relegated the club to the second division.

Legal sources said the Lazio regional court had decided not to hear appeals by former Juve general manager Luciano Moggi or ex-chief executive Antonio Giraudo against their bans and fines in the case.

Both Moggi and Giraudo hoped to challenge their sports tribunal conviction in the civil court.

The soccer tribunal found them guilty of influencing the appointment of referees on behalf of the club, who won the Italian championship in the last two years.

I am not sure about that at this moment coz the TAR would not give us the reasons why they denied the appeals until 17:00 local time. but if the rumor is true then the verdict to giraudo and moggi would not affect Juve's case

Tar Lazio has not yet released the motivations that led to today’s rejection, but it may be because the duo’s position is still pending within sporting jurisdiction.

The CONI Conciliation Court has yet to express their opinion on the petition filed by the pair seeing as their hearings are scheduled for September 5 and 7.

This is my understanding, as well, amico mio.

I say they blink first (they can use the "upon further reflection, we have decided it would be unfair to demote only 1 team, etc, etc" line)....they will offer Juve A-10; and the scudetto of 2005/6.
