so this means byebye vuci?
If only. But I doubt it. Unless the season ends badly for Vuci I can't see Conte getting rid of him even though it won't hurt to have an upgrade.

Read some tidbits from an interview with Fabio's elder brother. I think he is a bus driver or something.

Why new contract? I'm not a fan. Much rather keep Matri and get rid of Quag.
to buy whoooooooooooooooooooo????????????????????? and with what moneyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy???????????????? and to play in how many competitionnnnnnnnnnnnnssssssssssssssss????????????????????

yall need to do some maths before yall talk bout letting this one and that one go

# of strikers/ # of competitions/ available (quality) transfer targets/ available transfer funds/ available funds to pay salary(because a quality replacement would demand a much higher salary)

The timing of the extension may not make sense. But Quag and players like him, with patience, humility and more than decent skills will always be deserving candidates at this Juventus. I'm well in favour of Matri and him being retained because they've got a great attitude and are willing to fight for their place in the team.

Yeah i like Quag, he could be useful player, but no need for the extension, his old contract still runs till 2014 IIRC, we could've waited till next year and evaluated the situation and gave the contract extension if necessary.

It's not a big issue really. Maybe there are certain points in his old contract that needs modification, one extra year is nothing. cc: Andrea Agnelli

You'll are both right. I see your point Cheesio, even I don't understand the timing of it. Maybe because the contract doesn't change much but adds another year, maybe its an extra incentive to the player to finish the season well. Especially, since for a large part of the season, the player was being limked I'm a lot of transfer speculation. I dunno just a thought.

Quag surely missing the next game? Can someone verify?? If true, very silly for Conte to take him off. Should've played him with Alex instead of Borriello.

Yeah i think he will miss the next game.

About the boriello sub, that's conte for you. He just cannot stop himself from trolling other teams. Did the same with padoin, quag and others when he subbed them against their old teams :D

I'd say Vidal, Vuci, Quag and DC in that order. But yes, ran his socks off and did a lot of work off the ball, and a couple of neat passes and a qtube attempt to go with it. I think Conte took him off coz of the injury. Either that or he's available for Cesena and he wanted to rest him.

Quagsy was booked in the game and will be suspended for Cesena. Probably took him off because he was our only player on a yellow and didn't want to risk any reds
