I have no idea why this would be allowed to happen, surely some head honcho would realise what a mistake this would be. Offloading Gio without giving him a chance really, and especially when he has shown quality in few times he has played. Plus how can you offload someone if you havent decided on your new coach yet? Ranieri is one of the few people in the game who would disregard a talent like this.
