So i guess it's 4-3-1-2 or 4-3-2-1 afterall. Hopefully Camo gets the start. I would be really surprised if DP doesn't start this game.

Manninger
Cacares-Cannavaro-Legro-Grosso
Marchisio-Sissoko
Camoranesi- Diego
Iaquinta- Del Piero

(Diego playing like Nedved, cutting inside OR playing him like AMC and playing a "Real" AML (Like Gio, but where is he?), which means playing a diamond-formation WITH wingers, which will lead to the formation that I think we should try, when everyone is fit:

Buffon
Cacares-legro-Chillieni-Grosso
???? (Poulsen or Sissoko or Melo or Machisio??)
Camoranesi Giovinco
Diego
Iaquinta-Del Piero

BTW: Do you think Machisio can be taught to play DM?? How awsome could that be?? If he could, then we could sell Poulsen, Sissoko and Melo and spend the money on new players: New defence, future replacement for Camo and future replacement for DP!!!!

Watched few games for fulham this season and in a way there are similarities between them and cagliari IMO. Both Very organized teams with decent managers. Can trouble any team on their day.

Hope we win this game but i won't be surprised if they knocked us out of the competition. 10 years ago that thought would've been a joke but not today....
10 years ago we got knocked out of the Uefa Cup by Celta Viego, with an aggregated score of 1-4.

If it's only a minor sore throat then I'd be confident Marchisio will be ready.

Maybe Marrone will get a debut start for us.
That would be nice.

This is what Zaccheroni said today:

Will Diego be rested? It's in my plans, but not tomorrow.
Marchisio? I haven't seen him for two days (Marchisio had a fever). I think that Sissoko is ok, yesterday he was ok. Poulsen? He's yet to play a full match but he can handle it, he has the energy. The same goes for Camoranesi. Caceres is the most doubtful. He has to live (play) with pain.

What is wrong with Caceres?

De Ceglie is physically much better than Grosso and marks better.. I think I would start with De Ceglie.

And I really hope Grygera doesn't start. Keep Jonathan.
