People are seriously complaining about us not going to win the game for 90 minutes? :D

First leg we score 2 out of 4 shots. Second leg we waste little energy and EASE through to the next round, hardly any shots without and worries or scares to Manninger. We also get a clean sheet. The only complaint could be about the possession in the second half which obviously needs work, but everyone was so deep.

With the amount of players we have injured we can't afford to be pushing our players in unnecessary times.
Keep in mind, as well, that a lot of folk were saying they didn't care about this competition and wanted Juve to completely focus on the league. :D

It's just silly to play with fire like that though. Sure we did enough to qualify but it's still a pathetic performance that won't get us past tougher sides.
I thought we played better in the first half when we had decent chances. If Trez wasn't caught offside for a million times, we would have created more. In the second half we just didn't need to do anything because Ajax were toothless. I think we would have been with our pants down if Suarez was playing, but we did enough to contain this Ajax side who weren't tough. You are right about us not getting past tough sides with these sorts of performance, we definitely need to up the ante if we want to go far in this tournament and Serie A.

:agree: Didn't felt save at all
To be honest, I didn't feel at all nervous today. Its a nice feeling to have after all the heart in the mouth matches we had all season long.

We looked less shakey than we did before. I don't like the attitude we played with, especially in the 2nd half, but if you look at what a mess we've been in previous games, the way we did it gives me some confidence.

I wasn't really nervous but knowing this team can brake together ever second and concede two goals was always in my head. We just should have used the chances in the first half.

I agree with the 4-3-1-2 at least over the 3-4-1-2 but I thought Zacc would stick to his favorite formation.
Time will tell.

What Juve have done the last couple of games has almost been half way between a 3-4-1-2 and a 4-3-1-2.

Which one is better you think? To have an English side in your stadium in the first leg or in the second? I personally prefer to play them away in the first leg.

It's not going to be understood so I'm not going to bother.

No I think your point being is that you think we will continue with such a mentality that will make us suffer later in the competition, maybe so maybe not. I don't agree going all defensive but the game was already won before we kicked off. I think the way we play at home against Fulham will show our character.

Fans are fickle, some more than others. We've been incredibly efficient so far in this competition, will be interesting to see us when we actually do try.

The positives:
- Camo looked sharp.
- Trez has exhausted his offside quota for the rest of the season.
- Melo is suspended.
- Manninger has shed the nerves.
- Sissoko played a one two.

And Camo didn't look sharp too.

Melo usless even in the first half? I think he did quite well in the first, and decent with some mistakes in the second.
