I spied little on their forum. They are going berserk. I like it.

"Can't really remember when was the last game that Inter managed to played good."
"Is Rubin Kazan playing at home? It sure looks like it."
"We are shit. With no style."

Interesting first half in the Lazio game. First 35 minutes or so they let Tottenham have 70% possession, didn't really press. Committed some cheap fouls, didn't even really try to break when they won the ball. But then the last 7-10 minutes of the half they decided to hold possession and had 2-3 really good chances. I don't know if that was tactics or not, but the 2nd half should be interesting.

Good effort from Lazio and they probably just about deserved the draw.

Took them a while to get to grips with just how athletic Spurs are, but by and large did a good job of keeping things compact and denying Spurs players the space to start running with the ball.

They got the breaks with the officiating, but it looked to me like the decisions were all technically correct - even if I probably wouldn't have disallowed the goal from the corner.

Hernanes was disappointing and was the main reason Lazio weren't able to impose themselves on the game more, though they still created several good situations through the game, even if they didn't convert many of those good situations into chances.

Never thought Lulic was a LB, and he struggled badly against Lennon. I like Lulic a lot at LM, but seems odd to play him deeper to limit his attacking impact and expose his defensive limitations.

Thought Dias was excellent.

Spurs would be much better if they played the way Napoli does rather then keeping possession and basically wasting their speed.

Yeah, they would now that they have sold their two players who offered some guile - Modric and Van der Vaart.

Can well see a pattern developing where they are devastating away from home when they are given the opportunity to play on the break, but really struggling to get through the packed defences they'll face playing at home.

Adebayor will make a difference when he's fit, though.

Just now Spurs' pace gets them into great positions on the flanks, but they can't put a cross in because Defoe's the only one in there.

Once they have Adebayor in there - and possibly Dempsey as well - that would provide them with a good way to break through organsised defences.
