I hope Napoli and Inter are out in the group stages.
Can't go along with that.

I understand why people won't support other Italian sides in the CL due to the prestige that goes along with that competition.

There is nothing like the level of glory to be gained from the EL, though, so there really is no reason not to hope Italian teams rack up coefficient points, even if you don't want them to win the whole thing.

And then there is the aspect of them staying in the competition for longer and it potentially damaging their domestic form, which also helps Juve.

Yes there is. I just want to see them fail miserably in any competition they are in.
