CL: Draw danger for Serie A sides
Wednesday 10 December, 2008
The draw for the second round of the Champions League could be very tough for Juventus and Roma despite topping their groups.
There are bound to be some unusually big clashes in the knockouts, as the likes of Real Madrid, Inter, Chelsea and Arsenal have finished runners-up.
Juve and Roma will be seeded in the draw on December 19, but Inter risk going head-to-head with Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester United or Bayern Munich.
Group winners: Roma, Panathinaikos, Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Porto, Juventus.
Runners-up: Chelsea, Inter Milan, Sporting, Atletico Madrid, Villarreal, Lyon, Arsenal, Real Madrid.
