cracking goal by Scholes...their really wasn't much in the game besides that...Park and Nani were quite lively, Ronaldo wasn' decisive at all...Barca wer clueless with Messi being the only man who posed a danger to the very strong Man Utd defence
its very rare that Ronaldo stands out in big games

Messi was superb, as Andy said if they had a decent target man he would have had a far better outlet than Eto'o.

Iniesta impressed me also, his passing was great but just didn't see enough of the ball.

I hate to say it but i think Secco was right not to go for Milito, i have watched him a number of times and he has yet to convince me that he is worth £15m!

As for Zambrotta, it looks like we didnt do so badly out of that deal!

I think that is what's left in the critics' mind to decide whether he truly is the great player he can become...and totally agree on all the other points...especially Milito...the guy can't even give backpasses with any real confidence!

Thankfully Zambrotta isn't in Juventus' transfer plans. One thing that bothered me was that when Ronaldo got a yellow card for fouling Zambrotta, he did the diving hand motions. That's ballsy considering 97% of the time he's flopping around on the pitch. I found the referee incredibly partial to Manchester United, as usual in a European tournament. For the last twenty-five minutes of the match, I slipped into a coma, only to awake at the sound of a happy English commentator.

Oh well, the damage done. Here's to another shitty Champions' League Final, and another year of Gerrard/Lampard and/or C. Ronaldo jerseys (it depends on who wins) strewn throughout schools.

Park: 6 - Energetic as ever, but also of little use when in possession of the ball. He filled a space and did a job, but little more. :shifty:

Good, let them wear that crap. That way, you'll know who you can debate football with and beat them easily while being drunk, too.

Rijkaard made a huge mistake taking out Iniesta.
Huge mistake taking out Eto'o. How on fucking earth you take out Eto'o? You're 1-0 down you need a goal and you put Bojan who is fucking 18years having a shaking legs each time the fans whistle him.

Here's my view on the game.....

-You should expect to loose when you leave someone such as Ronaldinho out. You can have 10 Messi's but you'll never have the Ronaldino's difference on the pitch. Just like Del Piero for Juventus and Raul for Madrid.

-Again and again, why didn't Henry start the game?

-Zambrotta owned Ronaldo but then again, screw you Zambo.

-Forza Chelsea till death!!!

Oh and for the "I want to win the Champions League" Thuram, Zambrotta, Cannavaro, Emerson, Zlatan, Vieira:howler: go fuck yourselves.

But Eto'o wasn't really doing anything out there. What Barca needed was a Trezeguet tonight to feed passes directly in front of goal.

True they needed someone like Trezeguet but still taking out Eto'o was a dumb subs IMO.

Oh and when I say Zambo owned Ronaldo doesn't mean he played good. He was rubbish tonight and I don't fucking miss him.

God, I fucking can't stand these assholes playing in the CL final.

And again, can somebody explain to me why Manure watered their own side of the pitch prior to kickoff? Do they like the feeling of wetting their pants or what?
