Barcelona star Ronaldinho is showing Udinese respect after they were drawn in the same Champions League group.
The two teams have been inserted into Group C alongside Panathinaikos of Greece and Germany’s Werder Bremen.
"We know Udinese well," said the Brazilian, who was today voted as the best attacker in last season’s competition.
"They are an organised side and like all Italian clubs, they are strong in defence and very dangerous in attack."
Udinese were in the fourth pot of seeds, but the Friuli outfit are secretly confident of making the last 16 in their first ever European Cup campaign.
"I haven’t spoken to boss Serse Cosmi yet but we are all happy to just be in the competition," said director general Pietro Leonardi.

Inter boss Roberto Mancini is confident of Champions League qualification following Thursday’s draw.
The Nerazzurri will face Porto, Rangers and Artmedia Bratislava after being drawn in Group H.
"It is a good result for us, it could have been a lot worse," stated the tactician. "However, it will still be tough.
"Porto are a side who play good football and Rangers, especially at home, are a team to be feared.
"The Portuguese have lost some important players but have some good youngsters coming through.

Milan have reacted to today’s Champions League draw with caution, insisting qualification will be no easy task.
The Rossoneri have been placed in Group E along with PSV Eindhoven of Holland, Germany’s Schalke and Turkish outfit Fenerbache.
"It’s not the best for us," said boss Carlo Ancelotti. "Our opponents are three pretty well balanced teams and that could cause us problems."
Ironically, Milan will travel to Eindhoven and Istanbul again, following last term’s semi-final against PSV and their Turkish nightmare in the Final against Liverpool.
"It will be curious to return to those two cities," added Ancelotti. "But this will give us the possibility to make up for what happened in May."
Club captain Paolo Maldini, who actually helped in the draw, is also ‘disappointed’ with this afternoon’s events.
"It is a tough group but if you want to win this competition then you can’t fear anybody," he stated.

Juventus boss Fabio Capello is failing to dismiss the strength of any of his club’s Champions League group phase rivals.
The Bianconeri are looking good to qualify in the top two spots after being drawn in Group A with Bayern Munich, Club Brugge and Rapid Vienna.
"It will be a group in which we must work hard and be very alert," Capello cautiously commented.
"We know Bayern very well as we already faced them last year. Brugge will be a hostile and well-organised opponent.
"We are a little less informed on Rapid but they are undoubtedly a side of quality as they have just knocked out Lokomotiv Moscow."
However, Vice-president Roberto Bettega believes top spot will go to either his own club or Bayern.
"Both of us need to collect maximum points against Rapid and Brugge, because it certainly won’t be easy to beat the Germans," said the club legend.
"We faced them last year and only won in Bavaria thanks to some great saves from Gigi Buffon."
Bettega then admitted that triumphing in Europe was his side’s main priority this season.
"We are aiming to win it as always," he stated. "I would say that 90 per cent of our fans want this trophy and we hope to fulfil their request.
"It will be tough however, as we saw last year when making a mess of just one half of a game can prove decisive."
Meanwhile, Juventus will be without Alessandro Birindelli for the next six months because of injury.

In that respect, it actually works for me...had Chelsea and Liverpool been kept apart ESPN(which shows four matches every CL week, two per matchday) would've surely shown each of the EPL clubs' matches.
Now that Chelsea and Pool are paired together there's a chance we might get to see Juve Bayern since there are only 3 EPL related matches in CL on the weeks they play each other.

To be honest, our primavera squad could kill them. They have a young and talented team, but a very small squad. With so many games to come, their squad won't be big enough.
They have a very good goalie´with Helge Payer, but IMO a too weak defense. Same goes to the attack, where Thuram and Cannavaro should have an easy day with players like Lawaree, Kincl and Akagündüz.
Their only good dpartment is the midfield. Hofmann and Ivanschitz are very young and quick playmakers who like to rotate, but they are very unexperienced. Vieira and Emo should close them down easily.
So Jeeks, we should take 6 points out of this 2 games. Although the crowd in Vienna will be mad. The Rapid fans are known to be the best in Austria and just take a look at thei wonderful pre game show on www.ultrasrapid.at
