Indeed but I was hoping that Betis, Villarreal and Everton could have all qualified.
Betis AND one of Villareal or Everton can still qualify :p You would have missed one of your wish list and Monaco :p

Udniese - Sporting is also a nice encounter.
Given the gutted Udinese squad, however, I'd be surprised if they get more than one point out of this brace.

Yeh. It would have been nice to have Betis, Monaco, Villarreal and Everton in the CL but that's impossible now. I feel sorry for whoever gets eliminated out of these four, because they, unlike a certain Liverpool FC whose draw is quite favourable, worked hard to finish where the rules stated you had to finish in your domestic league in order to qualify for the Champions League.

Villarreal are an exceedingly capable team and quite frankly I think that Everton's CL dream is going to come to a premature end.

Real Betis and Monaco are perhaps the two most closely matched sides.

it is better for italian teams when english and spanisch team does not qulify for CL.
But I think that Vilareal is really very sympatic and play great football. And now they have Tacchinardi.. so I hope they will be in CL. Everton can go to Uefa Cup. 4 english teams will be enough..

it will be really difficult for Udinese and Inter.. sporting is strong and shaxtar too..they have money..
If Inter gets a little complacent, and I don't see Mancini letting that happen, this could be a struggle for them.

I don't hold out much for Udinese, given they've had their heart cut out and handed over to Inter and Roma in the offseason.
