Is this Tommy Smith guy the commentator on ESPN2? I feel bad for this guy he thinks he knows everything and he doesnt. On the Tsunami match he thought he pronounced all the players' names perfectly and he didnt know anything

Milan Man Utd was somehow boring but Milan could have won by more

I am hoping Milan will decide to concentrate more on the CL, thus (hopefully) giving us a little more leway on the Scudetto.
See, now that's the type of attitude that I don't like.

I would give away 10 scudetti for another CL trophy. The prestige of the latter far outweighs the former in that regard, and that is what Juve SHOULD be built for.

This isn't a personal dig at you, bro. Its just that I see this a lot. "Well, at least we have the Scudetto to look forward to"

Fuck that. I want the CL trophy. And let me tell ya, with all the depth that Milan has at the moment, they have enough to capture both trophies this year.

Sergio, baby, be realistic

I would give 10 scudetti for the CL too, but fact is that we wont win it. Were almost already out this year - so we got more chance of winning the 28th than the 3rd at least this year

You gotta be realistic, we're not going to win the Champions' League so we could as well concentrate on the Scudetto.

That's for Latin America. ESPN Deportes.

but my point is, this team SHOULD be built to win it.

Now, unless I'm suffering from a severe mental collapse (which is possible today due to a midday rendevous with wifey), I 'm under the assumption that Juventus falls under the category of one of Europe's elite squads.

If that is indeed the case, then why is this team seemingly ill-equipped to compete in the CL, much less make a serious run at the title.

Anyway, to me, settling for a domestic title that this squad has won over and over again, at least in my view, simply isn't enough.

Dude, obviously I want the CL as well. I would give away the Scudetto for the next three years if we would win the CL during this time. You don't understand.

Do you think we have the power to win the CL though? Hell no, we won't even get past Real. Might as well, after we lose out to Madrid, focus on the only competition we're still in.

Again, why is that?

Why is it that a team that is held in such high regard not have what it takes to win the CL??

Right now my bet is that Milan will win the Champions League. They have brilliant players in defense to shut down almost anyone, and their creativity gives them the power to control the match and bring it to the opposition. No team matches up with them at the moment. Nobody.
I'm going with Milan too. They are amazingly well balanced and quite frankly no one can match their cohesive midfield displays and ever reliable back four. Upfront they've got the best finisher in the game as well as a class keeper between the sticks. A lot can change between now and May but atm nobody's better than Milan.
