Dzeko's problem is the same problem Torres is going to have at Chelsea. Both players need to be the focal point of the offense to be successful.

but he slows down the game alot. He needs to learn how to adjust, otherwise, the guy isn't going to last there. Torres first touch is way better than Dzeko, the guy can't even control a ball.

next season when Tevez is gone he will be the main man and look a different player

 5 minutes in the country and he is already a flop:lol:

when will people realise that some players take longer to settle than others

I would only take him on a loan with an option
 he would score goals for fun in Serie A

just because he didn't come to Juve does not suddenly make him shit

I thought English is the main language in Scotland, let me repeat my self. I said he slows the game down for city, he needs to learn how to adjust, otherwise he won't last there So how in hell you came to conclusion that I said he flopped in EPL. He flopped in the games he played, but not the league yet. Now do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth, I hope so

P.S And no, he won't score for fun in Serie A, the guys problem aren't just tactitical, he is techincally lacking too, it's mainly confident. He need to adjust in Serie A too. So I don't know how you built your conclusion Mr Bob tits

1-1 against Wigan.

Disappointing result, but there were some positives. Suarez seems to have settled in nicely. Hit the post twice, ran his head off, combined well in the midfield. A lot of players looked to have the international hangover.

Would have been nice to get a flag on the Wigan goal.

BS, you're obviously judging by 1-2 matches he played for City, with today's 20 minutes being the focal point of your thesis. His ball control is ok, he's very fast and he's technically excellent. His ball control today was a huge surprise for me too and I watched a very big part of his matches in Wolfsburg in the last 2 years.

I don't care about the past (Germany) Alen, I judge players performance as of now. The guy has been a huge disappointment for City. I didn't way say he flopped in the league. He flopped in the games he played as of recently. He needs to adjust, otherwise, he won't last in the EPL. He has the talent, but he isn't showing it. I would expect a better first touch from a so called world class striker. You could say he is nerveous, not fully confident, but until then, the guy hasn't looked like the striker we all know. You could have all the talent in the world, but that doesn't mean you are going to be successful. he needs to learn how to play in that league. It's going to take him time. It's too early to say if he flopped in the league, but by next jan, if nothing hasn't changed, then he would be a big flop.

I'm not talking about flopping. He might easily be a flop and not score more than 5 goals. I was referring to your "technically lacking" argument. Only someone who watched him today and at most one more time could say that Dzeko is technically lacking and has an awful touch (although his touch is indeed far from perfect).

I know what he is capable off, but he is indeed technically lacking at the moment, and I would say that's mainly due to lack of confidence or trying to over do things.

Not getting into this debate but the first thing that the English media said after his debut is that they 'didn't think he will be quick enough for English football'.

Dzeko is just not used to the pace of the English game yet, the most overused cliche for new players in the Prem, but imo that really is the case this time. His technical ability is ok, he just needs to understand that he doesn't have as much time on the ball.

As for Vidic, i thought he was MOM today. He ate Tevez for breakfast, i never thought he'd make marking a player like Tevez look so easy. He was never beaten in the air, and he just got in City's face all game long. He was quite average at the start of the season when Rio was missing, but that looks like it was because he was playing alongside the calamity Evans :D. That being said, Smalling was very good as well. Makes me boil seeing him playing games like today's one, seeing as we were in the race to sign him alongside United.

On another note, i'm loving this new rejuvenated RVP, deadly in front of goal, and is such a joy to watch. I just hopes he stays fit, he really is a top class player when he keeps himself fit for an extended period of time.

It is overused and it is a cliche, but i believe it does apply to Dzeko. He isn't slow at all actually, especially for someone his size, there are strikers that are a lot slower than him that are doing well in the EPL. The guy just needs time to adapt.

He will be, once he gets used to the pace. Oh, and by saying he's very fast I had his height and body structure in mind. I wasn't comparing him to Wright-Philips or a young Giggs. He's definitely faster than the likes of Berbatov, Crouch and the other big guys.
