@fred: dont u think wengers subs last night were to blame? apart from walcot being subbed with eboue the rest of his subs were meaningless.
Wenger is to blame for this whole shitty season actually not only this game. Why he took out our best player of the night van persie was just beyond me, and how he still hasnt shot Song in the head is also something i cant comprehend.

I disagree.

Lots of goals are only good if it is due to attacking brilliance.

I've no interest in watching high scoring games like Arsenal-Spurs because most of the goals were caused by dreadful defending
.
that's what always pisses me off about the EPL...so many goals come from piss-poor defending

I think its all about taste. Some people like high scoring games (spanish la liga) but to me its a joke. Serie A defence is probably the best in all top 3 leagues. IMO the more balanced league is the EPL specially lately (last 4-5 years).

long may it continue! if we win the league this year, i honestly don't know what i'll do. supporting and following liverpool is very different from following juve. with juve, success has for so long been expected, we've had excellent teams, both technically and mentally, we've had lots of champions. with liverpool, the league hasn't been close in years. winning the CL in 05 was so unexpected, and so out of the blue, it was incredible. the league though, is different. we've been waiting so long, with so many disappointments, so many missed chances and false dawns. there aren't many clubs that have managed to stay part of the top group, without ever winning the damn thing. lots of clubs (napoli, fiorentina) have had huge ups and downs. liverpool hasn't. instead, it's season after season of 5th/4th/3rd place, usually a lot better than the team below, but always a lot worse than the team at the top. it's about time we won the damn thing. i don't expect it to happen, given chelsea and manure's tremendous strengths, but i sure hope we do. if we do, i'll probably cry. You'll Never Walk Alone
