For Inter it was a big fat no. This kid is a CM. Been tried AM and winger but lacks the decisive final plays to make that his outlet.

Hes still young though, and Allegri rates him based on the 2014 comment. he will try him there for sure as well as Pjanic

This is part of the problem though. Our domestic talents are not put in the situation to succeed. Put Pelle on a team where he gets service, and he will look a lot better. Immobile, granted, I think is a limited player, but he's home grown. Destro, I think could be a very good Serie A striker, but between injuries and playing on crappy teams, his development has been limited. I also get the impression that his fitness isn't great.

I wish we could get:
-Romagnoli, Insigne, Florenzi, Donnarumma, Cataldi - Those 5 in the right situation could become very good/ elite level. IMO, Insigne on Juventus, could be amazing. It could be a beautiful christmas tree formation.

Yeah, no to Gomes - 2 cm signings means Pogba is gone.

That being said, if we sell the likes of Pereyra/Asamoah, we could still afford another larger signing. Pjanic isn't a budget-busting outlay, but the issue is that it utilizes a lot of liquidity. Player sales for cash now could replenish the liquidity. You could then still make another big purchase, only the outlay would need to be spread over years.

No it doesn't mean Pogba will leave at all. We're probably selling 2/3 midfielders + Padoin... So buying only one is not going to happen. Especially with Marchisio down and out as well.

And the 50 mil is still a media thing. Nobody actually knows. But the storm for him has fallen so we'll probably only pock him up if they drop the price anyway...

From all of our bench, i think the only worth keeping is sturaro. Not because he is the best, but because he offers the more defensive oriented gameplay, for games that require physical workload and sacrifice.

That is probably 75 million in outlay. Why not buy a player like James for that price?

I feel real will not sell him to us, and he will be expensier than gomez.

Also Asa+BobyP+Nanes+Padoin will get us like 40 mils if we have some luck. From 40 to 75 theres a long call. To 50-60 is a lot but less than 75+.

That said, i would love james more of course

He is really good. Would be a great addition to our midfield, but too profilic to warm the bench imo, so i don't see us going in that direction. It will be a development player a la Kovacic or a guy that could play AM and possibly sub in as a striker as well. At least that would make sense with the new squad restrictions.

I still have wet dreams about Mkhitaryan, but it seems very improbable, especially with Pjanic coming. I just hope we keep our profiles, i am confident the board will pull something nice off if an oppotunity arises.
