He is a top player who has spent many years in Serie A. Its a shame to leave the league having spent all this time without winning the trophy. He knows what a scudetto means and how hard it is to win it. Players from outside the league would not know the value of a scudetto the way someone from Serie A does. Especially a player that plays for Roma or Napoli.

Reading all the rumours and what people here wish and write I think this pretty much sums up what we are all hoping for...

IN:

Alves - free
Benatia - loan + option
Darmian - 17mio €
Kovacic - loan + option
Pjanic - 32mio €
Berardi - 25mio €
Morata - 25mio €

considering we can spread the costs with the loans and saying loan fee itself should be around 3mio each we would have spent 105mio €.

OUT:

Caceres - free
Lichtsteiner - 7mio €
Isla - 3mio €
Hernanes - 8mio €
Padoin - 2mio €
Pereyra - 13mio €
Asamoah - 13mio €

... that would be 46mio € coming in. Then we still have the option of selling Zaza or Sturaro to generate some money. So talking about transfer fees only it would probably be doable. The thing is that all players coming in would have much higher wages than those going out I guess, plus I feel like that would be too many changes for our management. On paper we would significantly strenghten our squad and even somewhat rejuvinate it, but I can't see that happening. I think Darmian is too much, Lichtsteiner will stay. Also I feel like we are not really after an established CB like Benatia to cover for Caceres, who would earn high wages and rarely play (when we actually want to develop Rugani that is). I even think we are not really going for 2 midfielders. It will be either Pjanic or Kovacic, eventough I would love to see both coming.

That would mean Alves, Pjanic/Kovacic, Berardi, keep Morata/Backup.... would u be happy with that?

thats a 60M mercato and i think close to the truth (-Darmian perhaps). i think its affordable (Berardi will be a bit less and Morata a bit more than that). you did a full check on Juve finances @italiacalcio10 right, do you think we can pull this off

We can easily. 40 million in cash on the balance sheet + a lot of debt capacity given the growing EBITDA figure + strong cash flow for the next 12 months.

That squad is unreal. Only issue for me is the reserve keepers may not be good enough if Buffon gets injured. Otherwise, we are REAL champions league contenders.
