You are actually going to have their 70 million euro investment in Martial play behind the striker?

And @Zacheryah, I can appreciate your fondness for those who put in the work, even if they are not as skilled. However, we shouldn't have to ask that of all 11 players on the pitch all the time. We do need to have the types of players who can create magic at the drop of a hat, even if it means giving up some of that workrate.
I agree. i've said it in a previous post. I understand if certain players dont track back, i dont like it, but i understand. Del Piero didnt track back one bit for example.
But Toure, doesnt work when his team has the ball, and doesnt work for the team when they have the ball untill he sees chances to score. Thats disgusting.
The moment the team has the ball, i'm expecting creative players to explode and be proactive to find solutions to break the opponent down. I'm expecting them to work togheter. I dont mind if a player is selfish with shooting instead of passing. I do mind if he doesnt want to run untill he can score himself.

Any idea how Gomes is defensively?
Good enough, dont worry about that.

We should concentrate on getting a creative outlet for the left side. Isco would be just fine and if we manage to acquire Morata's full contract we can easily offer them 40+M. Given that we can make only a single big investment - 3 out of 4 this is it!
Zaza out for ~30M should cover most of that.

Martial is amazing on the left. And Van Gaal might be anything, but stupid.
Isco would be a mistake because he's not the creative outlet when the opponent gets tough, and thats exactly when we need one.
