Nicole, following Man Utd's first two league matches of the season what do you think of the team? Are they good enough to challenge Chelsea as they are or do they still need another signing or two?

I've seen both of your games in the Prem this season and Fergie's lads look extremely focussed. Man Utd aren't traditionally fast starters but Rooney was excellent on both occassions and Van Nistelrooy looks rather sharp. Park has settled well which can only be a positive. When Ronaldo, Giggs and Heinze are fully fit again things will only improve.

What do you think?

it seems their form in CL is better than in EPL
How do you think they'll do in the CL? Mark my words, Liverpool will NOT win anything this season, they just aren't good enough.

Chelsea took first blood in the fight for the title, beating Arsenal 1-0 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday thanks to a fortuitous second-half Didier Drogba strike. The Gunners will feel hard done by after a spirited display but ultimately they paid the price for a lack of creativity and an inferior squad.

Was it me or do Chelsea play alot of lofted passes or shall we say Hooooof!! up to drogba? they are so predictable. Arsenal are such a better passing team than chelskis. I dont care what anyone says as my mates are Arsenal freaks but they miss Paddy (Vieira) so much.

We have to replace Keane, if we dont it'll be hard to stop Chelsea. I am not a fan of 4-3-3. We should get back to 4-4-2 when we played at our best.

Hleb was very good on his first Arsenal start  This kid has a bright future ahead of him.
yes,he was very good.I'm not sure, but I remember Burke once said that he is a Bayern player.
IMO,Arsen Wenger is too stupid.I don't understand why he didn't use neither Bergkamp nor Reyes.
and,do you know, what's up for Carvalho?

rotation system for defenders?Carvalho is their best defender.the only line he has to use rotation is the midfiled.Essien,Makelele,Robben,Duff,Lampard and SWP.very hard too choose 4 of them.

While we are marking your almighty words, we ask ourselves the question; were they good enough to win anything last season?
No, they weren't. Or wait, they were.

Agree about switching back to 4-4-2. The 4-3-3/4-5-1 is useful for tightening things up late in a game and hitting on the counter with the likes of Giggs, Park and/or Ronaldo wide though. It's a pretty decent alternative and Man Utd certainly have the players to make it work but 4-4-2 is a better fit.

Tottenham doing well so far specially with Mido & Defoe !
Tottenham are a very capable side with a good mix of experience and youth. Robinson, Davids and Keane have been around for quite some time and then there's the young guns such as Michael Dawson, Michael Carrick, Wayne Routledge and of course Jermain Defoe. I'm backing Martin Jol's team to finish in the top five.

Btw, did anyone see Defoe's goal against Middlesbrough? What a strike!

Do you think they'll win anything? I suppose the European Super Cup is a possibility...
