I think the FA has vowed to resist such a move tooth and nail. Besides, someone pointed out that you need two teams to play a footie match. If Glazer decides to go it alone, he would still have to work out a sharing formula with the other teams in the league.
Oh please, the FA are more spineless then a snake!

Keane Taunts Southampton Fans

Roy Keane was escorted off the St Mary’s pitch after taunting Southampton fans following their relegation from the Premiership.
The Republic of Ireland midfielder, an unused substitute in Manchester United’s 2-1 win, was warming down at the end of the game when Saints fans started jeering him.

Keane reacted by pointing down and waving goodbye, before being escorted down the tunnel and away from a group of supporters calling for the resignation of Southampton chairman Rupert Lowe.

 Theres only one keano :D

Dont worry yer pretty head Nicole dearie. We whopped yer butts in the Community Shield without him, and we'll do it again.:D
:D

Sorry, we only take competitve games seriously. And if my memory serves me correctly we've beaten you 4 times this season (or 3, cant quite remember). So I wont worry! Just I like to see him do nothing in big game :D

EDIT: Oh, and we also didnt have Rooney, Ronaldo or Ruud that game...

Damn, Henry has been ruled out of the FA Cup Final, it means I wont get to see him bottle it again  :sob:
well the way its looking, even if henry was playing we probadly still wont now if he will bottle it because of the man utd fans protest over glazer.

i read about they might block the turnstils but the battle is lost, hes got his 75% today and if he gets 90% he can bid for the whole of it without anyone stopping him. but the man utd supporters club are claiming they have more than 10% stake in the club so glazer might not get 100% of it.

Why on earth didn't the Man U supporters do something long ago?
when the rumours of the glazer wanting to buy the rest of the shares they did protest but not to this scale. but they couldnt really do nothing to stop him.

Everton's David Moyes has been named manager of the year after guiding his team to fourth in the Premiership to earn a place in next season's Champions League. Moyes won the League Managers Association award in the face of competition from Chelsea's Jose Mourinho and Rafael Benitez of Liverpool.

It is the second time the Scot has received the honour after his success two seasons ago when his side missed out on qualification for the UEFA Cup on the last day of the season.

The LMA annual award goes to the manager, who can be from any division, "deemed to have achieved the most taking into consideration the resources available to him".

Everton struggled in the 2003/04 season and sold England striker Wayne Rooney to Manchester United for 27 million pounds ($49.59 million) in August last year but Moyes remained optimistic.

"At the start of the season I was thinking to myself, 'How can we avoid relegation?'" Moyes said at the ceremony in Nottingham.

"Then we lost our best player when Wayne Rooney left for Manchester United. A year ago, I was just relieved to have escaped relegation, so it's amazing how football can turn around."

He had limited funds to strengthen his squad before the 2004/05 campaign, signing only Australian midfielder Tim Cahill and striker Marcus Bent for modest fees.

Moyes suffered another blow in January when influential Denmark midfielder Thomas Gravesen left to join Real Madrid and the team's form dipped initially.

Despite the loss of key players, Moyes created an impressive team spirit to defy the critics and took great satisfaction in finishing a place above arch-rivals Liverpool in the league.

"There's absolutely no doubt that Everton are the best team in the city this season," he said after Liverpool's defeat at Arsenal this month handed Everton a Champions League qualifying round place.

The 42-year-old joined Everton from Preston North End in March 2002 as the successor to Walter Smith, who was sacked.

Born in Glasgow, where he started his playing career with Celtic, Moyes also played for Cambridge United, Bristol City, Shrewsbury and Dunfermline, making over 550 league appearances.

He finished his playing career at Preston where he stayed to take over as manager from Gary Peters in 1998 and in May 2000 he led them to the Second Division (now League 1) championship.

I was thinking of Robson to get it for doing what no manager has done before(to get a team bottom of EPL at Christmas to avoid relegation),but Moyes is a good choice I guess.
