But thats a weird reason don't you think? I think Andy was talking about this issue recently.

Anyway, I think the debate surrounding Seba is gone. He has shown that he's a good player and most people have no doubts about him. These days you sometimes see Kasaki or Hustini campaigning for Seba but thats about it :D
You can't quite just take that little bit of my sentence and make it sound like I'm saying people 'diss' Seba simply because he isn't a Juve player, and therefor no good. People get tired of having Gio's name pop up in every single thread, bar defender-transfer threads, though I wouldn't be surprised if someone would mention how he'd be a better LB than Ziegler any day now, saying how we could save so much money, etc etc.

Once there is any word of him returning, he becomes a good option, but he really doesn't seem to want to come back, Parma intend to buy half his contract.. we're losing this kid. Unless Juve start working on getting him back, we should just give it a rest and move on.

Well, that's how I feel, anyway. :D

I'm sorry but giovinco looks more plausible than aguero

Well, atleast we are interested in Aguero, even if he's not interested in us.

Gio isn't interested in us, nor are we in him, apparently.

Unless I missed something, that's pretty much the situation right now. I'd more than welcome Gio back here, don't get me wrong, but there is just no need to keep repeating the same thing over and over again. You will bore people to death. There are plenty of things, like the ' he's not Italian though ' and other gems like that to bore people to death with. Just look up Bianconero81's posts...

Yeah, I understand what your saying .

Back on topic

I'd really like elia here, he wouldn't be a starter of course but if we can pay 12m for martinez then I'm sure 10-12m would be chump-change for elia

Anyone know when Elia's contract runs out? I remember people saying he could leave HSV for quite a bit less than 12m, that's why I thought he'd be worth a gamble.

Can't believe this thread has reached 32 pages, to say that he is just a show pony would be an insult to show ponies

When people talk about Elia it takes me back to this game. I thought he was really good when he came on.

This match is the reason most people rate Elia. He was also decent last season in the Europa league.

He's talented, but inconsistent and makes bad decisions most of the time. Reminds of Nani when he first joined United. But with Elia being 24 now, I can't see much room for improvement and it's shocking that he's still poor decision maker despite being near his prime age.

You seem to like a couple of our players, i wonder if it's due to their asshole'ish ways on the pitch. :D
Essien, Drogba and the Frnechies are cool. I don't think Essien is an asshole, he sure is an annoying fuck that gets the opponents frustrated when he is simply owning every inch of the grass but he does not do it with attitude only with style and ability. I like Drogba's cockiness most, he is aware of his ability and he enhances it with his cockiness. That's a typical asshole behaviour that I really admire.

He is 'rated' here because most of people on this site never seen him play.

And he shows it in person, treating fans as scum.

I wouldn't know and only one experience you had is not a reflection.

A friend of mine works at a clothing store in Paris, a store which Drogba happens to visit frequently and he tells me he is extremely nice to other customers there when they try to communicate with him. That friend has a cousin (he is 10 or 12 years old) who is a big fan of Drogba and Chelsea and a couple of times he asked him if he would talk to him on the phone and Didier didn't object. Two opposing stories to the one you experienced, so we cannot generalize on how he is with the fans.

Off of GoaldotCom, from his agent

''They [Juventus] are interested in [Eljero] Elia and they have submitted an offer for him,'' Schouten stated to Italian publication Tuttosport.

''The two clubs should reach an agreement and he [Elia] wants to play in Serie A. I have spoken to [Juventus transfer consultant] Fabio Paratici in the last few days. If a financial agreement can be found, then Elia will be playing in Serie A next season.''

His stats are shit in star terms...

Hamburg- 48 7 (10)
Twente- 64 11 (5)

Mind you, Vargas isn't much better and playing a significant part in 17 goals in 48 games is good.
IMO we shouldn't pay over 8m from him
