I posted it in the general transfer thread thinking that it'snot a Juve deal.

Valencia's site confirms it.

Don't worry, Moggi will do something.

We didn't need Janku with Chiellini returning or Parisi.

Edu can be replaced with Ledesma, Pizarro, Mozart or by keeping Appiah.

We could still go for a BIG name for the midfield too.

Guys, you are looking at the situation from a wrong prospective. Edu's signing with Valencia is point towards that mostly Fiore is leaving them..
Juventus showed interest in Fiore during the winter season. He will be on a very cheap transfer fee. Plus his annual wage is low. Give more he can play as CM, OM, or Right wing. He also showed his worth in the Serie A pretty good with Lazio. Currently, Lazio don't have enough money to by a big mac so mosly he won't return to them. He can't go to Roma and Milan and Inter did not show any interest. Juve showed interest and went quiet, which is something Moggi did quite frequent, e.g. Cannavaro, Ibrahimovic, Buffon, Mutu...etc.
I think Fiore is ideal for us. He is cheap, frustrated that he didn't get a proper first team participation which caused him to loose his NT place and above all proved his worth in Serie A.

'Tis a pity. I'd warmly welcome a player of Edu's quality into our squad especially if he could have been attained for free. Personally I'd take the former Arsenal man over Blasi and Tacchinardi each and every day of the week.

I don't think Fiore is the man for us. His form fluctuates even more rapidly than Del Piero's and with Camoranesi's rise to prominence we no longer need a right sided midfielder and there are better options than Fiore regarding the central midfield role.

I want Pizarro and Gilardino the most. Keep Mutu too. Miguel or Cassetti for Rightback. Tudor back, get Barzagli or Chivu and Chiellini/Parisi and we are set ;)

edu would have been good back up, but id rather moggi concentrated on a player who will start next to emerson.

and lets not forget that maybe he has a 4-3-3 formation in mind now that mutu is available.

no one really knows his intentions.

I think we'll be signing a big name in the summer. Maybe thats why we've gone so quiet. But i wonder who the big name options are really?

It would all be so much easier if we just got Maresca back.
