IMO, Dzeko would be a monster with the service our team could provide him.

Not only is Mancini struggling with the tactics, his mentality is very questionable (weak in my opinion - although I don't follow BPL/City closely). Anyone remember the meltdown after Inter's CL rendezvous with Liverpool? Truly pathetic lack of composure.

Even if City decides to sell him I guess we won't get him. His wages are insane and this would be our biggest problem if we wanted to get him.

BTW how much does Suarez earn at Liverpool?

Tbh, I think city have the worst tactics of any of the big European clubs, it's just painful to watch them raping that poor ball.

They play so slow and without idea that it's painful to watch. Mancini wants to play like Barcelona without actually knowing how. They pass the ball around in midfield without idea, then they give it to Silva, then he runs forward a bit, then he turns around and passes the ball back... and in the end nothing happens... They have the worst, slowest build-up of any of the big teams and the only reason they are first in the premiership is because if their players individual quality. Mancini is a shit coach, and I thought that even when he was at inter.

So it's no surprise that dzeko plays poorly there. There was no cross almost the whole game, no through ball, no ball over the top of the defence... and how could there be when they are so sloooooooooooow. Why play him on the wings? It's not his job to be there ffs!!!

The reason why he's good as a sub is because when he comes on they are usually chasing a goal and have to abandon their usual idiotic tactics and just hoof the ball up without Silva or nasri raping it, and that suits Dzeko. It's a sad state when you pay better when you don't have any tactics than when you do.

Dzeko would be a completely different player in Juve, with pirlos through balls and crosses from the sides.

Manchester city is just awful.
They also don't work hard enough.

When they have the ball, players aren't really moving a lot - either to receive the ball or to open up space for the man in possession.

When the opposition have the ball, Man City don't press and they are very slow to get men back behind the ball.

I am glad we didn't get Dzeko when we had the chance. Del Neri would probably achieve just enough with him to stay. So it all worked out for the best in the end.

And now, there are other more attractive options for Juve. Dzeko will never be a Juventus player.

Dzeko today

Couldnt even keep the ball for 5 seconds ,terrible with his linkup play and passing in general..

And if you saw our game yesterday with Vuci and Quags movement and linkup which bamboozled and confused the Chelsea defense quite often ,you would know that if we need an upgrade over our current attack we definitely need a technical striker somebody who's good in overall play too and possesses the aformentioned qualities.

Not saying we need a fantasy forward but i believe we can do far better than Dzeko in our current system and style of play.
