I heard on the news that Donadoni (ex coach of Livorno) can take the place of Capello if the goes. What do you think? I know that Donadoni is a good coach but does he has enough experience?

Donadoni represents to me the antithesis of Capello, which might not be a bad thing, IMO, after two years of Capello.

Whereas Capello represents formality, structure, experience, accomplishment, and also predictability, rigidness, and less to prove careerwise ... Donadoni represents youth, creativity, strong player relations, and a hunger to prove himself. But certainly a lot less to show for it with a team of the stature, and budget, of Juve's caliber.

Yes, Donadoni is not proven ... especially when we compare him to the likes of Deschamps and Prandelli, whom most of us initially dismissed as too inexperienced when Capello first took the Juve reigns. But there's something about Donadoni I really like. He seems to have that grit, young industrialness, and faith within his players the way that Rafa Benitez or Deschamps have proven themselves to have in a few more years. But Juve is not Liverpool, and Donadoni's track record is nothing like even Rafa's brief coaching career at Valencia.

If we're committed to making a break from Capello, however, it could work. But there should be other more established options to consider first.

I still have mixed feelings about bringing back Lippi for a third stint. I feel that relationship has run its course, and sometimes it's best to leave the past in the past and move forward.

Spalleti? After a very successful year at Roma? I doubt it.

Prandelli? I think with the improvements he has made the last year, he is looking to bring Fiorentina some glory.

Donadoni, yes he is an ex-Milan...but....I gotta say, he had a good thing going there for Livorno, and they started off playing some courageous football...getting some of the best performances from Palladino. I wouldn't really mind, but I'd rather go for Deschamps although he hasn't made a mark in a year.

In the next season a clamorous return of Fabio Capello could happen on the park bench of the Real Madrid that it trained in season 1996/1997, gaining the Liga.

Vialli, Wenger and Eriksson in race for the park bench. With a consisting budget the two foreign couches would become the candidates to sit on juve bench. Also Donadoni could do this. (Tuttosport)

Donadoni is a good coach, but unproven at the highest level I think. Has everyone forgotten about Deschamps? He was going to be the new Juve coach in 2004 (they even told Zebina that) until Capello was signed at the last moment. He is also currently unemployed I think.

    Who could replace Capello?

Three men are in the running to be named as the new Juventus boss if Fabio Capello decides to move on at the end of the season.

Capello is being linked with a move away from the club amidst rumours that a clause in his contract allows him to leave if Antonio Giraudo, the club’s chief operating officer, also exits.

With the future of Giraudo, director general Luciano Moggi and Vice-President Roberto Bettega all in doubt, a departure could be imminent.

The Italian media believe that there are a trio of candidates who Juventus could turn to if Capello, a reported target for Inter and Real Madrid, quits the Delle Alpi.

Former Juventus striker Gianluca Vialli is a possibility given his understanding of the club and his previous managerial experience in England with Chelsea.

His ex-Bianconeri teammate Didier Deschamps is another name paired with the outfit after he left Monaco earlier this term.

The former French international has apparently been 'proposed’ to the Agnelli family by the legendary Michel Platini.

The third option is the up-and-coming Roberto Donadoni even if he does come with a number of risks.

The one time winger, an international teammate of Vialli in the past, is inherently linked with great rivals Milan.

He has also never bossed at such a high level given that his only Serie A experience to date has come with little Livorno.

So it goes public at last. Im up for Deschamps if Capello leaves
