I mean all the actors and creators of any art not only in cinema. See for example the way they are sponsored the books of Harry Potter that offers nothing to younger populations except a false world of ignorance, and while there a lot of sientific and and other books that aren't even known by the most people. Why is happening this? Because they don't wan't the people even to think?

i don't mind mr.cruise as an actor,he has some movies that are really good. Very distinctive style, that could be a negative sometime but he makes the roles his own which makes it interesting at times considering the variety of movies hes done recently.

anyway movies like the jerry maguire, the last samurai are some of my favorite

Everything fictious in the world isnt linked to brainwashing people.Thats the wrong attitude as far as im concerned. You cant live your entire life being a great intellectual who only does things that count, only reads things that count, and only listens to things that count. You simply arent a normal human being that way,and all you get by the time you're 50 is a bad case of blood pressure. The world doesnt run on conspiracies only.

Leave how many times he's jumped on Oprah's couch or the other shit he does in his Personal Life aside, but purely as an actor,do you think he's good?
I want to hear Swag and Pado's input on this :D
he was such a weirdo in Magnolia.
You mean Thomas Cruise Mapother IV? :D

Well, I'll take a step back and be honest on this one. He's been an acting failure in a few areas (I mean Cocktail? Comon'!)

But he was very good in Magnolia, Jerry MacGuire, and even A Few Good Men. And particularly good in Born on the Fourth of July. Though he suffers from a sort of over-earnestness with his approach.

Personal issues aside, I can stomach his acting style. But it's a little overwrought for some people, and rightfully regarded as such.

That and I want him to eat my coffee beans and crap them out so I can sell my Celebrity Blend coffee roast for $500/lb. (Take that kopi luwak!)

Every actor has a specific style that he's well known for.Though i do agree that he does do a lot of it.Collateral is one movie where he plays a different and pretty good role.A Few Good Men might fall under the same bracket too.
hard to say i mean he has been in a few very good movies (born on the 4th of july, rain man) but the bad far outweigh the good (cocktail, vanilla sky) if you had to sum up the cruisester on any movie it would be jerry macguire- sweet, smooth, but not too much effort he is the easy listening of hollywood.

oh and i am shocked and stunned to see so many people rate collaterol so highly, i was in there 5 minutes and you just seen the whole plot straight away, was soooo bloody obvious that it spoiled the whole movie for me

I once got a talk from a bartender about how acting is the least talented profession in the business. I tend to believe him.

To answer the question Tom Cruise is shit.
