That's because you are a clown. An Olympic swimmer is 2 or 3 times the athlete and in shape. Swimmers use more of their body than footballers, for one example.
It's called muscle memory. Unless he routinely trains his body in other sports, and as frequently as he does swimming, he will always struggle against athletes in other sport, and vice versa.

Going by your logic, F1 drivers are pussies, when in reality the G forces their body withstand over a race, as well as their heart rate, place them as the most in shape athletes around, despite "only" sitting in a car, and tightening their muscles every now and than.

To rank athletes in terms of who is more physically fit is impossible. They train their bodies for the rigors unique to their sport. Any1 who has played seasonal sports has felt this.

Phelps wouldn't last a football match and a footballer wouldn't last a swim race. Phelps leg's wouldn't be used to stop and go sprint's. There is a huge difference between propelling yourself off concrete/grass and propelling yourself through water. His joints would not be used to the pounding either.

Great first match from Diego.

My point was based on the fact that someone said that eating at McDonald's three times a week was okay for an athlete. But it's not.

Actually soccer is a great sport to get in shape. It can be very exhausting, it works the core very well, you also need a strong upper body when you're a pro and you need both speed and endurance.

Phelps is obviously in shape, but he would not be able to run 15 minutes with Camoranesi for example. If all he had to do was follow Camo around on the football pitch, Phelps would fall over soon enough. Now obviously Camo couldn't follow Phelps for five metres in a pool, but you get the point.

You have better war and weapons (whatever that might mean), but we definitely build better cars. Sure, you have some good companies, but the true quality is over here.

As for movies and television.. I kind of tend to agree. Sure, there is the annoying stupid blockbuster every once in a while, but Americans do make A LOT of great movies. And as for tv shows, I think very few shows can compete with House MD, The Wire, South Park or The Simpsons.
Dude, your head is up your ass. That's awesome!

We needed a player like this for ages, since Zidane's departure, he will make wonders with this team, I am excited already, now bring the big teams, specially Brits and Spaniards

I love VDV too, he screwed his career with joining Real thou, but sure thing Diego isn't comparable with him, at least at the moment..
