It suffice to say that IMO Del Piero will retire as THE BIGGIEST legend in Juve's whole history. Not to be presumptious, but he will be seen in a bigger light then Boniperti, already have all the club records basically despite just been who he is and what he has meant for them (even clearer, Totti is by far the greatest legend Roma have had in their whole history).

But there is me in threesome :shifty:

Seriously tho, I think what people mean by "the club is bigger" is that Juve has had many Del Pieros. And no matter how big they are, for a club like this they are very much replaceable. Just look how many number 10s we've had, and all of them were legends. Maybe being a star at Juventus is what makes them legends in the first place.

Did somebody say #10?

No doubt about that. Especially when he'll be the one to lift the first trophy since relegation. Just the stuff of the legends really....

I wonder how many kids grow up dreaming to be the next Juventus.

And wouldn't it be fair to say that Michael Jordan is bigger than any basketball club out there?

What about Usain Bolt? He's part of a club too you know. You know the name of his club?

I wonder how many kids grow up wanting to play for Del Piero.
Are you fucking kidding me? Millions.

If I go out tonight, right now and ask any 12 year old if he wants to play a game this saturday with Del Piero as his coach, he's going with me.

Great players/Legends arent bigger then clubs perse, but it goes both ways, a club is great due to the sum of the legends it has had. For example, Here's Juve's, we "made" this players so to speak, but they also made Juve "great".

Diego. Wow Diego. This is a player that will take us back to the European Summit. He will undoubtedly fill the gap, left by our blond legend. I'm so happy. very happy. I love Juve. Forza Juve. From the depths of serie b to standing back in our rightful place, the summit of European football. :bigscarf: :flag1: :ultra: :juvefan2: :flag2: :scarf: :jvefan: :weee: :theflag: :delpiero: :juve1:
