Wolfsburg Set To Launch New €20m Bid For Juventus Midfielder Diego - Report
Italian reports claim Diego will leave the club, just a year after joining them...
Wolfsburg are set to finalise a deal for Juventus midfielder Diego and a €20 million revised offer could result in a switch as his future turns away from Vinovo once again.
Both Sky Sport Italia and La Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting Wolfsburg chiefs have upscaled their previous offers which centred around a €14m cash deal - leaving no scope for a swap with Edin Dzeko - a notion that was previously reported.
And now Dieter Hoeness has re-established contact with Juventus and his new pitch has raised eyebrows in Turin.
There will be no player and cash deal, just up front equity for the Brazilian who just days ago received high praise from coach Luigi Del Neri, leading to new belief that his future at the club was secure.
However, Wolfsburg's latest offer hangs between €18m and €20m, figures Marotta and Juventus would welcome having paid close to €25m for him from Werder Bremen last year.
