Because he was very average for Bayern Munich last season, and yes I did watch him alot.

I think certain people get confused and sometimes starey eyed at watching certain players impress at the World Cup and that's happened with Ozil and Muller this year.
Very average. I also watched his 1st season. 46 games, 19 goals, 10 assists. And plenty of great, intelligent play that have most of the country raving about him.

Your comments about him and Özil are simply absurd.

Could you look up his first team stats please and post them here?
2008–Present:- Bayern Munich 38 Games (13 goals) So an average of 1 goal in every 3 games.

Also 6 Assists in 38 games.

I'm not too sure on assists but compare that to Diego's.

2006–2009:- Werder Bremen 84 Games (38 Goals) An average of about 1 goal in every 2 games.

28 Assists in 84 Games.

Just worked the assists our for the Bundesliga games Bianconero.
