Juve eye Aogo after contract impasse

Germany international Aogo has two years left on his current deal and made no secret of his disappointment at the club’s failure to extend it.
"I have stressed often enough that I want to stay at Hamburg, and this has not changed," Aogo, 23, was quoted as saying by Tuttosport. "I do not know why an extension has so far failed to materialise."
Negotiations are reportedly ongoing, but Tuttosport claimed that Aogo’s adviser Gordon Stipic is talking to Serie A giants Juve.
But Hamburg do not have to sell, with billionaire financier Klaus Michael reportedly pumping an additional £13 million into the club for transfer fees and contract extensions.
"The best thing for me would be to stay at Hamburg," Aogo added.
"It is a multicultural city, the fans are great, and the conditions at the club are exceptional."

I like Capitano's alternative better, he mentioned Elia. :p

Aogo said numerous times he's not going anywhere.

HSV rejected the Elia offer made before the World Cup that Juve made. He will stay one year at HSV also.

We would still have to get rid of Grosso or De Ceglie first, right?
I'm suspicious that what you suggested is the reason why we have not yet improved the left back position, and also the reason why we have not yet signed Krasic. Until we have rid ourselves of Camo and Grosso, we will not buy another left back or winger...

Birmingham was the last team I saw mentioned. Bologna a few days ago.

It's not the interest needed in our players that is the problem. The salary demands are too high.

Yeah, wages are usually the big obstacle. These players are either too old or crappy to join an equally big team, so there are barely any small(er) teams who can actually afford them.

You can't even blame them for wanting to do nothing for over double the salary they'd get playing for a mediocre club.

That's definitely our problem right now. Marotta said we have to sell first.
