It was a long ball from defence I think. DP makes a run into the box as the ball drops over his shoulder right onto his right boot which he does like a mid air volley but with a deft soft touch to guide the ball perfectly into the right side of the net. Sorry If I lost ya. You have to see it ez

no no, im with you, it sounds kinda like his goal against brescia last season, that was a long ball, and with one touch he volleyed it into the net. but ofcourse this one was most probably much more elegant

Yup, more much more elegant and simply out of this world. His best goal ever. DP also says thats the best hes ever scored

I really think that Brazillians are over-rated. from what I hear of Del Piero, then he certainly ranks higher than the Brazilians that I've seen-all they did was the step-over....they never actually did anything creative
