How can he look so impressive when playing for his NT yet look average when playing for us?

Reminder that, when we desperately needed a CM, a certain regime spent 45mil on this fawn with two left legs.
Yep.

There was a time when Chelsea offered 45m for rugani and we said no. Lol.

go back 6 months before we signed him and Barella was available for the same (or even lower) price. We can all cry about this all that coach but it all goes down to the wrong signings really.

I still do not know what skills he possess other than his left-foot finesse shot. Dude is a snail, clumsy, and have a vision of a blind bat.
Yeah... but people still protect him since he's "young and has a big potential".

This has to be his last season, if he doesn't improve, Sassuolo is waiting.

I still believe in him, he’s young. Start him over Rabiot and give him some continuity. He shined in that same b2b role vs sassuolo late last season. He’s not gonna play on the right while Dybala, Chiesa, and cuadrado are fit, and I don’t really like him as a super sub. He seems like the type that needs to grow into a game. So find a spot for him to start or sell him.

It really strange. In Parma he looked fast. Starting counter and sometimes finished it. Here he looked slow, awkward movement in getting the space, and sometimes look undetermined chasing opponent player when defend. Frustating
That is why you should wait before passing judgment on young players and playing for Parma is different to juve

I think it's his decision making when there is no space Infront, and also his one footed ness. He needs to play consistently to improve, let's keep this 4231 where he's flanked by Berna and Chiesa for now

I had high hopes after seeing his play in Parma. But here, he has been stinkingly bad and frustrating in each of his games. I havnt seen any signs of potential in his games for us, other than a few cool finishes in the start. I think I have given up on him. He must be sold or loaned out as soon as possible in my opinion, meanwhile he got till January to show something as he will have to play still, in lack of alternatives

Seems to always do very well in setting up his teammates within the penalty area.

But obiovusly playing him with his back to the goal is not a good idea. He should be running at defenses. He's not a second striker type like Dybala but more of a winger. Which is a shame because he will be getting a run there with Dybala out and I expect a lot of criticism his way.

Would be interested in seeing him in that hybrid role that Bernadeschi has.
