De jong is a midfielder is he not??
Barzagli and Sagnol I think are pretty much done deals. Im worried about Bazagli, the club needs a certain young star for central defence and im not sure if he is up to it.
Kompany is another rumoured defender and i see him being a better option, even if he hasnt had the experience in serie A. but he has played against in the best in europe so he does have that positive.
Gallas was recently rumoured also.
i would like Gallas, Kompany and Sagnol to join. I think they would really make the defence strong and maintain it that way for years to come.
Departures should see Birindelli and Pessotto. Wouldn't be surprised if Thuram was to make a move as well.

Legro had one good year.
Barzagli has been consistent for the last 3 years, that's the difference.
Sagnol will join us. I doubt Gallas, Chivu or Kompany will come.

And it seems Maxwell would go to Inter. I don't think we need him. Zambro, Chiellini, and even Pessottto are great LB's.
