isnt zlatan originally yugoslavian??
Zlatan Ibrahimović (born October 3, 1981 in Malmö, Skåne län, Sweden) is a Swedish international striker currently playing for Juventus in Italian Serie A.

Born to Bosnian immigrants, father Šefik (Bosniak Muslim) and mother Jurka (Catholic) Ibrahimović, who are from the Tuzla area. Zlatan grew up in a neighbourhood in Malmö dominated by immigrants, Rosengård. He started playing football at the age of 10. His initial club was called FBK Balkan and consisted mostly of immigrants from the Rosengård neighbourhood. Later, Ibrahimović started professional football with the Swedish club Malmö FF in the 1999-2000 season. During his stay at the club, Arsène Wenger tried to persuade him to join Arsenal but Malmö did not allow a transfer to occur.

And then there were five.

Zoran Ban, Alen Boksic, Robert Jarni, Robert Kovac and Igor Tudor.

Two of them were flops (Jarni and Ban), Boksic was decent, made a nice deal when sold further. Tudor is still one of my favourites and Kovac hasn't proved much yet.

Are there any promising Croatians then? Not Kranjcar, that's for sure. Who'll be next?
