Bringing him on as a sub might be the best tactic Martinez has. Sure, he has to deal with a grumpy Ronaldo, which may be difficult to manage over a period of time given his influence, but you know that he will see it as a personal insult and be at 100% determination to score when all he's interested in is playing as much as possible so he can extend his goals record. In reality he's 39 years old, and having him fresh at the end of game is a great weapon.
