I swear, these new generation Messi/Barcelona fanboys could give ManUtd fanboys post Beckham a serious run for their money as far as idiocy is concerned..and that is very high bar mind you.

No chance, that bar is unreachable.

Simeone was fined because the referee didn't include this in his report. UEFA fined him. And the sentence might be different for players and couches. Maybe they will be more strict to players.
UEFA is not banning CR for this shit, not after what they did in the group stages.

From page 326 onwards. There's still a few haters here and there but a lot of them that heavily despised him before have now changed their tune.

Incredible... my god

he's basically Michael Jordan of our era

He almost always gets the job done when backed against the wall. Incredible really.

another knockout stage hattrick when his team needed...really impressive

6th ballon dor incoming. The mans too motivated. Win the CL, win the nations lesgue with Portugal, 6th ballon dor.

Every now and again I start to think maybe he is better than Messi and maybe he deserves to overtake Messi in the ballon dors and be crowned the greatest.

Thank you for the lovely quotes :delpiero:

Its scary to think how many CLs he would have won if Mourinho didn't hold him back.

Mourinho was very important to Real and Ronaldo.

You might not realize it but was he that gave them the stability they had these later years. When he got there Real was a team that failed to go past the round of 16 year in, year out. La Liga was also being snatched by their rivals. He turned that Real Madrid in a team that consistently achieved Semi-Finals of UCL and got them the League of the records and also one the most important feats that maybe is not well known is that he established Ronaldo as the offensive leader of the team and made the team play for Ronaldo to ultimately achieve success. He paved the way this Real that you see now in the later years.

What a Boss

I have been fan of this club for 20 years but haven't seen such a performance from a Juve player.

The media attention we are getting from his performance it's just mind blowing.
Same here, not in one game at least. And is not only because of the hattrick, but about the build up to the game and his determination while on it.

I have seen great players here like DP and Nedved, but the resilence and confidence that ronaldo showed yesterday was like scripted from a movie....is not fukin real.

Any other top player would have been shitting bricks from the pressure.. but not this guy.

Truly above the rest

I'm not sure that it's the best individual performance I've seen from a Juve player but it was definitely one of the best team performances.

It's more special because of everything that surrounds Ronaldo, the pressure he puts on himself, the opponent, the 2-0 deficit and the fact that we so badly want the CL.

His ability to handle the insane amount of pressure he often put hinself in, is astonishing. He is cocky and he can talk smack but my God does he deliver like no one else. The Machine

Del Piero had a few of those moments in the CL. Hat trick in 97 and brace vs Real when he got that standing ovation
