Check out Mihajlovic for distance. Around the box with Pirlo it almost became like pks for us.
I belive Juninho pernanbucano is one of the best ever. Riquelme was good also as is pirlo, Pjanic..
Riquelme once scored two freekicks in the same game for Argentina and if I remember right, one from the right and the other from the left. I think it was against Chile. One of my favorite players.

Either way Juninho is the best
Thanks a lot guys, my knowledge of the history of the game is very limited so it is always appreciated when I can learn to show my son some of the greatest ever at their craft.

Didn’t Simone Verdi score 2 fks in a game, one with each foot? Iirc. That guy is so technically good but such a bust as a player.

Who are some of the best FK takers in football history?
#1 Juninho Pernambucano
#2 Sinisa Mihajlovic

Many people tend to agree on this top two. Quite difficult to categorise or rank older players than these because there are no records of conversion ratios.

Lower-profile guys with very good ratios include Juan Mata, Laurent Robert, Enis Bardhi, Shunsuke Nakamura, Pierre van Hooijdonk or Marcus Assunçäo. I'm sure there are many similar specialists out there I haven't mentioned.

Our own Andrea Pirlo, Paulo Dybala or Miralem Pjanic are/were very good. Also very famous guys like Platini, Maradona, Zola, Zico, Rivelino, Riquelme, Del Piero, Roberto Baggio or Ronaldinho.

A personal favourite of mine was Alvaro Recoba. He played for the bridesmaids but his left foot was frightening on any set piece.

Best FK taker is always Del Piero and I can explain why. All the others have perfected one style of kicking, Del Piero could and has done it all: inside of the foot, outside of the foot, far corner, near corner, close range, long range, under the wall, through the wall, curved, not curved, knuckled. You name it, he did it.

Perfect freekick, by the GOAT. He should always look to go for placement and finesse, instead of trying to just piledrive them as hard as he can.

Insane Serie A goal-scoring rate too. Love that we get to witness this legend in our colours on a weekly basis

Finished

That's because Del Piero practiced.

Nope. I'm sorry. I know you're biased, but you're wrong. Look at this list for reference:
