I mentioned it in another thread, but I truly believe that Ronaldo would have won the Ballon D’Or last year if it wasn’t for the rape accusations.

Horrific timing unfortunately, and in this world PR is everything.
The "Liberals" taught us to just believe everything a "victim" has to say. Like I could say to you Van Dijk raped me, and then everyone would believe it except EPL fans.

"Just for how cute he is"

Is that her way of giving men a taste of their own medicine re objectification?
CR7 is a male adonis while Messi is so good he's not even playing the same sport as them. They picked Van Dijk because he's the least threatening to their thinly veiled fragility.

Women are so transparent. I can forgive Alex Morgan because she's very sexy but Rapinoe
They are actual professional players, but have no idea Male world cup wasnt this year (otherwise it wouldn't be a factor for annual best player), and Holland didnt even qualify for it let alone win?

How can you be that ignorant of your own sport. Or are they those type of obtuse Americans who think any national or continental club competition in any sport they have = worlds best. So they just assumed Champions league equals world cup lol.
Because they don't know actually anything about the sport or at least no the professional game. Why else would they think they deserve equal pay?

These ladies were probably good at in high school, continued in college and went that direction.

Can you imagine the reaction if a male footballer answered that way about a female footballer?

Someone like her would be rage posting in Twitter about it
didn't something very similar happen last year? Some minor comment became a sexism scandal?

If anything Ronaldo needs to be mocked more for refusing to go to any award show he doesnt know if he is winning in advance. That's super level of petty and insecure.
he had an other award ceremony to attend that night though, the prestigious gran gala del calcio :snoop:

Was top scorer of the tournemant with vital goals and assits along the way and dragged hes team into the final with this ridiculous header in the semi finals. Trumps anything messi done on international level.

What sort of lick bot are you? Griezmann had 6 goals. Ronaldo had 3 and so did Nani many others.

He was their best player in one game - Hungary. He didn't play in the final and was invisible for the rest except for that header.
Ronaldo had 3 goals and 3 assists - accounting a contribution 67% of his teams goals. He was far from his vintage best but he was still crucial for them. Pepe was probably their best player though overall. He was an absolute rock. The defense was behind their triumph that year.

What’s interesting is that a number of players actually liked her post. Guys like Marcelo, James Rodriguez even Douglas Costa, etc so it’s like they agree.
