Giuntoli:Juventus is a club that must win. It's not the only thing, but it's the most important. The result matters, but so does the way we achieve it. It all starts with performance, where the difference lies. There cannot be any excuses to hide from.

Giuntoli on Calafiori:It's a regret for all of Italian football, not just Juventus. We need to question why we didn't have the strength to keep a player of his caliber in Italy. The top teams have all signed a defender, but not him."

Giuntoli :
“Someone like Vlahovic with still important prospects can never be a problem. We will renew.
McKennie had a renewal problem, but he was never out of the project. We wish all the best to Chiesa : he is very strong, but he was out of the project

Giuntoli behind The scenes:
“Plan B to Motta was a foreigner who coached and still coaches in Europe. Calafiori is a regret for all of Italian football, not just Juve . We must question the fact that the Serie A clubs did not have the strength to keep him in Italy”
Giuntoli to Corriere della Sera:
“Result or good game? I say balance and command of the game, that’s what I like about this Juve . A strong team must be able to do everything. Motta is a predestined one, very empathetic with the team. He has a great personality: he gives everything and lives for this job”

It may be as simple as answering a direct question specifically about that.

If he was looking at up and coming foreign coach my guess is Ruben Amorim, style similar to Motta. Or Sergio Conceicao because he knows Italian football.
Also Giuntoli was stupid as fuck to admit that signing Osimhen was his hardest deal... given the whole crap with the plus valenza case still going on with osimhen. Should have straight up let ADL take the fall.

Why though, he would look naive if he said we only wanted Motta and had no other coach in our mind. He is definitely more straight forward than Marotta
No, it's easy enough to say we wanted Motta and he is here now. That's it. I shouldn't see why we have to disclose who the alternatives were, even giving any clues just seems disrespectful.

he kept his italian citizenship, there's no reason why giuntoli would refer to him as a foreigner

anyway here's the whole interview in english

What a pussy this guy is lol. I'm pretty sure someone else was plan A and that Motta was actually plan B, but he can't say that, can he? :lol2:

according to most journalists motta was the first choice since like ~february

it's easy to see through you too. you said you thought giuntoli, but it's obvious that you have a crush on the guy, you're just too shy to admit. come on, you can be honest here, we won't judge ;)
