Positivity is because of coach not guintoli

Notice the players that impressed the most last match yildiz, vlahovic, mbangula, cambiaso, weah, none were signed by guintoli
Thuram, Cabal were impressive. DL had a good final minutes of the game. He will be expected to start going forward.

Motta was signed by Giuntoli
This as well

His first signing was goalkeeper who is good with his feet.
1- his first signing was djalo, a expiring contract player who never played more than a few mins for juve and now is outcast. waste of money

2- he didn't sign 4th goalie. he wasted money on him. money club doesn't have to waste

If he finds a way to sign Chiesa extension for a reasonable amount and he performs + Motta gets more him and Vlahovic to perform (I.e proves to be a decent coach) + Thuram proves to be a good player then that’s a great first season in charge.

We're probably going to make a profit on him?

Yes, 2 million for a goalie upgrade.

Giuntoli Deal #30
  • Player: Daniele Rugani
  • Type: dry loan
  • To: Ajax
  • Detail: a season-long loan until 30 June, 2025.
Grade: C-
Comment:
His contract expired in June but we extended him in May. Three months later we loaned out him, and it's a dry loan.

He renewed with a lower wage and I guess everyone was happy with him being a relatively reliable back-up option who is rarely injured. Then we sacked Allegri and in came Motta and asked what the fuck is that pleb doing here...

but giuntoli knew in january (or february) that he wanted motta. why the fuck he didn't videocall him in time to inquire about his intentions regarding rugani

my guess is that it's pure book cooking. we saved a few mills with his extension
