Already feeling sick. just spent the least week stuck in a small room with other jurors, one of whom was dismissed before reaching a verdict because she had flu symptoms.

this is it. I can see the light.
Quarantine yourself. Drink plenty of fluids.

It's time to start beliving in my theory. Or you just die.
i was kidding about the dying part but the Bay Area has massive exposure to Asia. Your theory gets sillier and sillier by the day as governments across the world continue to take measures to slow this and the stock market crashes.

as i said before, i am not paying attention to what CNN says i am watching how major corporations and governments react to this that are not media centered. you know, large organizations that have nothing to gain from starting a panic and a substantial amount to lose.

ill buy your theory that media outlets benefit from panic but the rest of us dont. the US government and economy do not benefit from this

I just wish the same attention was given to hunger which kills 20k daily rather than 250 deaths that corona spread.

But yeah, if anything, this grew more serious and bigger than what I expected. Still, as some like numbers here's what I saw today:

    - China town where it all began populates 11 million people. Infected are 77k which is like 0.7% after 3 months (as first signs were shown in december 2019).
    - China population is 1.3b which means 99.9945% don't have corona over there.
    - Those that have cured are already over 10k so the infected aren't 77k but less

    Deathrate by the age:

    80+ years: 14.8%
    70-79: 8%
    60-69: 3.6
    50-59: 1.3
    40-49: 0.4
    30-39: 0.2
    20-29: 0.2
    10-19: 0.2

    Which means if you're 80+ and to die it's 0.7% x 14.8% = 0.103%. If you're 45yo it's 0.0028%. If you're under 40 it's 0.0014.

So overall it means if you're over 80 you have 99.897% chance you won't be affected & die while if you're under 40 it's 99.9986%.

Stock market crashing isn't an indicator of anything other than the economy it influences. And represents an opportunity to make money for some people.

80-something% of people panic and 80-something% of people lose money in the stock market. It's not an indicator of disease prevention or outbreak.

You're better off just keeping tabs on what CDC aka the experts & scientists dealing with this say and harmonize with any local govt coordination.

It was some pic not idea what the original source is.

Btw, it's kinda funny how people ask who would benefit from it, then 2 pages later people are hyped about the crashed marker in order to invest on it and wait for a comeback :D
So you're saying that the virus is a conspiracy for everyone to have an opportunity to buy stocks?

Hope their work travels are to South Korea and not the US.

Five reported cases in Sweden today. One of them originated from Italy and the person carried it to his friends. The other cases are the ones Osman talked about.

If those numbers are from the Chinese govt, I wouldn’t take them seriously
