good play by all players. a nice win without some key players. a positive start, and in the league these are the teams we wil have to beat. i liked both almiron and tiago. tiago did well for his first start and i'm sure he'll get better, some neat touches and passes which he needs to do, also some good hassling.
almiron good in the middle and did a good job, but i still dont think that was his level, he can do better, i'm sure. and brazzo performed well and didnt really give a weak impression while playing.

good in defence esp' chiellini and andrade, solid and firm. i'll include him here, molinaro did well when he came on and showed his worth.

attacking wise, i thought iaquinta was playing really well in the first half, used his pace and strength very well. and i was glad to see palla on, and trez did ok but deserved better service in future, because thats what makes him worth having in the team.

Tiago and Nocerino were invisible most of the game....then after Molinaro entered, suddenly Tiago showed up and made some great passess that opened the game... Trez and Iaquinta could not get a ball at all... but it ended just great. GRANDE JUVE !!

Good result, not too flattering but just enough for a new side that put up a good fight. It was interesting to see three of our new purchases score, still waiting for Tiago's opener.

We are being lucky that's for sure but I hope the team will learn from the luck, use it at times where we don't have it instead of relying on it.

Almiron is definitely the man of the match with an honorable mention to Chiellini and Sali. Iaquinta was good and so was David,

The only thing I didn't like was the starting lineup as we were left flat with our four midfielders.

Let's take this cup seriously this time. Empoli, here we come.

Good game by Juventus....Though I believe that we should still improve even-though it's only Coppa.

Almiron had a great game, Andrade should work more on his passes, Palladino should have entered earlier and Chiellini had a good game.

All in all we were good and dominated the game. The more I'm watching Juve the more I have faith in this team that are playing against all the odds.

What a nice game it was in the end, after a boring first half. I really liked, how we got better minute after minute. This Juve can go far this year. We are playing nice football and finally are able to keep possession for some time. Congrats to this team

Buffon 6 - Didn't have to do much. Was there when Parma shot on goal and hit the post. A pity he didn't got the ball at the penalty, cause he got the direction right

Zebina 6 - Penalty wasn't his fault, as this was never a penalty. Was good at defending and strong when going forward. Got some nice passes and even a shot on goal. Right back won't be a problem this year, as we have 3 very good players for this position

Andrade 5,5 - I wanted to give him a 4 after the first half. He searched the long ball way to often and made some mistakes, that could have led to goals for Parma. Somehow, he was a different player in the second half. There he showed his strength in one on one situations and also stopped playing the long ball.

Legrottaglie 6,5 - Great, untill he got injured. I saw the Chievo Legrottaglie. If he can keep up this form, we don't need a new defender.

Chiellini 6.5 - Great. We have the best Italian left back in our team. I love this guy. Donadoni should think about picking him. Great in defense, quick and clever when going forward. The flank for Molinaros goal was superb. I hope he never leaves Juve.

Brazzo 5 - Sorry, I know he scored a goal (a very lucky one though), but he had a day off. Coly owned him on the left flank. He made some really weak passes and was not able to win any one on one. Should play right back.

Almiron 7 - My choice for man of the match. This dude is wicked. Was everywhere, helped out in defense, was active in offense, played clever and accurate passes and scored a beauty. The best central mid in a Juve jersey since years. The new Veron is here.

Tiago 6 - Wanted to give him a 6,5, but his first half was too weak. In the second he somehow played a very good game. Nice dribbles, very good passes, great movement and in the second half, he controlled the game together with Almiron. This partnership will work. I am 100% sure of this.

Nocerino 5 - Really not his day. Wing is not his position. I hope Ranieri saw this today

Trezeguet 5,5 - Usual Trez performance, but didn't score

Iaquinta 6 - Very good first half. Moved to the wing, had some nice actions, but disapeared in the second half. I still trust in him and think, he will al least score 10 goals for us this season.

Molinaro 6 - Nice goal but not more. Invisible for the rest of the game

Boumsong 6 - Decent game and nice understanding with Andrade. He is a good defender and great in the air. Would be a starter, if he didn't have his stupid mistakes from time to time......

Palladino - No rating, played to short

I'm really enjoying this high scorin business. Zebina's challenge wasnt a pk imo so I feel our defence did ok.
It was my first time seeing Almiron and Tiago play together but what I realised is that the painful financial fact is Zanetti must be in that midfield.

To be honest I was a doubter of this Almiron-Tiago doesnt work but I've now seen it first hand. They both really really pass beautifully but they somehow leave gapping holes in midfield and we were srtruggling coz of it esp in the 1st half. Parma couldnt take advantage of it but some just might. Matb against staunch minnows it'll work but for difficult teams I think we'll be slaughterd

I feel Andrade really had a good game. I read on channel4 after Trofeo belusconi he wasnt good with aerial boys but he was dealin with the very well.

All in all - its nice to win with 3 goals (all from newcommers) esp given the players who were unavailable
