 Oh man, it's even funnier reading it again and thinking what it would be like to read this forum 2-3 years ago with a post like this.

Like a voice from the future saying, "You know, if Chiellini or Molinaro get injured, we're screwed."
I agree. Times have certainly changed. There is still a part of me waiting for Legro to bomb, despite being steady all season.

It's strange. It was only 6 months ago that ppl were flipping a coin on whether to sell Boumsong or Legro, and now we rely on the latter.

Thank God we were spared total embarassment......

Its no coincidence that after BUMsong came on in the 34th minute that the entire midfiled and defense fell apart (where the fuck did Tiago go ??)

I'm gonna save myself 30 minutes of typing:

Players that we need to just drop, and disregard the money we've lost (because no one else will sign them for more than 20 cents)-

BUMsong
Grygera
Brazzo
Molinaro

Players that are not good enough for this team, no matter what formation(s) we try-

Tiago
Almiron (even though he didnt play tonight)

Players who may or may not work their way into this team-

Marchionni

The heart and soul of Juventus-

Nedved
Iaquinta
Del Piero
Zanetti
(and throw in Trez and Gigi as well...even though they had the night off)

Random thoughts-

Belardi- left hanging to dry

Palladino- he may be the future, but we needed him tonight

Biri- wasnt as bad as I thought he would be

RUINeri- counting his blessings as we speak

SUCKO- time to start shopping...waaaay too much dead weight here

it was a tough win , juve defence was week , it is good that we were able to score more than 3 goals this is why we need iaquinta in every game.
and i liked vinman naming our coach RUINeri since he is not doing well .

So, now that Chiellini is injured and Legrottaglie is ill, Andrade is still out for at least 2 months, who is going to be our CB pair for the next string of games?

I really hope for a new, solid CB in January, some short-term solution and then get a champion CB in the summer.

Iaquinta
Del Piero
Zanetti
Nedved

Glad that Marchionni looked good a grabbed a goal. If he stays injury-free, he is a good option to have in the squad, don´t write him off because he has skills and it seems he is finding his form slowly.

Disappointed in Palladino because his form dropped drastically (there are rumours that he will possibly be traded for Amauri) and very disappointed in Tiago. I don´t feel any optimism about him anymore and Ranieri must be really pissed. I believe he is pissed for some time but doesn´t have the guts to attack the board.

How was Salihamidzic? At least he wasn´t a complete failure this season and proved to be an useful player but nothing more.

Ranieri's bitter Coppa aftertaste

Claudio Ranieri wasn’t totally satisfied with Juventus’ Coppa Italia win over Empoli as Giorgio Chiellini is injured and Tiago Mendes disappointed.

The Cadetti champions rallied heroically to claim a 5-3 victory and book a place in the quarter-finals, but the triumph was marred slightly by a serious knee injury to stopper Chiellini.

We started well, but the sudden injury to Chiellini took the wind out of our sails for a bit,” Ranieri explained. “If everything goes well, we will only be without Giorgio for a month.

In defence we made lots of mistakes and I will be showing the video to my players.”

Ranieri will be hoping Nicola Legrottaglie can recover from ‘flu’ to start alongside Zdenek Grygera in defence when Sampdoria visit the Stadio Olimpico this weekend.

The Bianconeri tactician also seems to have lost patience with underachieving midfielder Tiago after the Portuguese flop’s umpteenth poor showing.

I wasn’t happy with Tiago as I expected more from him,” Ranieri raged. “I took him off because he was playing badly.

“Often he chose to play backwards instead of going forward and he performed without personality
.”
