I didn't get to watch the match, but if the team did indeed put up a mediocre performance then I'm just glad its in the Coppa and not Serie A that we got a little wake up call.

Hi, I'm Newbie here....I think that Juve made good match in a second half...maybe in 1st half they not concentrated and La Viola can take a chance to lead the game...

Good performance from Balza and Emerson....

Let's get better performance for the next match.

Pathetic performance from the Old Lady side.......

Watching 90min of this game was really sad. I was trying to find which player I should pick from our side to be the man of the match. Seems our players taking this "Coppa" as walking in the park.

They should understand that we(Fans) care about this trophy as much as the others, tho all of us will choose CL and Serie A over this, but this doesn't mean we should give it away. atleast thats what I saw in this game.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Buffon-Should have done better in the 2nd goal. Anyhow I didn't expect lot from him. Welcome back Super-man. 5.5

Pess-Wasn't trying hard, tho he wasn't Focusing 100% on the game he did better than the others....not to forget his goal. that was superb! 6

Kovac-Did couple of mistakes, Seems he didn't sleep well. and should have covered better in the 2nd goal. 5

Thuram-He takes some blame for the 1st goal as he allowed the player to take the shot. He seemed little bit slow in the 1st half, 2nd half was much better for him. Hope he'll do better on Sunday. 5.5

Balz-This kid somehow entertained me today, he was looking fresh moving all around. He combined well with Adrian. 6

Blasi-was invisible in the 1st half....He saved us couple of times in the 2nd half. atleast he did better than his prev matches. 6

Gianni-Another weak Performance by the ex-Lazio man. Subs him by the Puma man was a good thing. 5

Mutu-Some of you might now give him some credits for the goal or calling him the man of the match, But apart from that lucky goal, I saw him doing lot of mistakes(Passin, Crossing). Anyhow, Seems Adrian is getting more confident day by day, thats a good thing. 6

Dp-Didn't have a good match....his 1st half was better. In the 2nd half he kinda disappeard for a while. Hope he'll get his head back. 5.5

Zala-Slow, can't pass, can't control the ball. He was really bad tonight. 4

Zlatan- I expected him to move the game little bit more after he entered but he wasn't really in action. But Ofcoarse better than Marcelo. 5.5

Neddy-Was trying hard with his crosses and he was running alot. Was a good thing to put him on the field after we were 2-1 down. 6

Emerson-Probably the best player in our team(2nd half) that was a good move from Cap to put him on the field. He did what he was supposed to do. 6.5
Thanks, Great Match Report.

Looks like weren't that serious in the beginning and then decided to play in the 2nd. half.

Good to hear Balza play well.

We didnt do too badly, considering our wonderful coach had 3 players playing out of position at the beginning of the game.
He had BalzaNEDDY (my new nick for him...could be Pavel's twin !!!) playing RM, Mutu pushed out on the left of the midfield, and Blasi- the village idiot, playing RB

I thought we controlled the first half well, until Buffon was left out to dry on 2 occasions....Thuram was to blame for the first goal- he left Bonjinov to blast away at Gigi, and the second goal, early into the second half, was Kovac and Thurams fault (even though it was CLEARLY a handball.....who says we get all the calls ???!!)...Gigi had NO CHANCE at either goal

After their second goal, and a long intermission for the police to tear gas some Fiorentina thugs outside the stadium (I'm speculating here...the punks HAD to be Viola fans !!), Pessotto got us back into the game

Mutu, who was clearly trying to cross the ball, scored to tie the game. For the rest of the second half, Fiorentina sat back and absorbed our attacks...looking for the counter. I thought the game became slow, and I thought both teams were just happy to get the draw.

I'm not going to give complete player ratings(unless requested), but Zala is a joke...Mutu should be playing striker ahead of him...I feel were wasting Mutu in the midfield

Blasi should take up a new career as a tax/bill collector. He isn't a football player in the least...he finally learns to cross the ball...and decides to put one into the Fiorentina box with NO Juve players in sight...and 3 Viola players waiting.. along with the fact that he has NO skills- many of us could just run up and down the field for that kinda money ....RETIRE !!!!!!

Emerson had a good game..when he came onto the field, he commanded the midfield quite well

BalzaNEDDY could be a decent defender...he's young and will improve

lets hope for a win on Sunday

I was not able to see the full match, only the part after where the police ridiculously dispersed tear gas just outside the Artemio Franchi, so I am not able to discuss much about this match. But one thing I'm tired of seeing is Nedved playing right-wing...every time he is out there on the right he really doesn't impress me, and it's obvious why he is better on the left. Balzaretti played well from what I have seen and heard, however introducing him into a Serie A against Fiorentina could be another story. Hopefully we will beat Florentina Viola this weekend.

It is a good result for the return, win or 0-0, and 1-1 are good...so i think we are trough to the next round...
But Sunday is the big match... that one is most important... milan will play chievo away.... i think the scores sunday are:

Chievo - milan(merda) 1-1
Fiorentina - JUVE 1-2

FORZA JUVE... SEMPRE IN CAMPO UNDICI EROI!!!!

  *NUCLEO ARMATO BIANCONERO* !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes i agree with that 100%
-Neddy playing in the right cancel him as a winger,
he drafts himself to the center and forget the left side,
i cant understand why Cap picked him since Camo was in the bench available,
-Balza was v.good but it would be a risk for him and the team to play an unadapted younger in a such important match,if he chokes and does a mistake it will mark him for good,
he waited all year for a chance,he must wait a little longer,
maybe next week, home, against Cagliari would be great,
i hope Cap wont forget him

Why is no one talking about Pessotto's goal? I thought it was a good goal! Nice bullet through the defence. It was funny to watch 6 Fiorentina players rushing to Pessotto before he hit the shot. :lol2:

Wow. The only match report that comes close to the truth so far is Vinmans. You others need to get a reality grip. Do me a favour and don't draw conclusions if you don't watch the games. Thank you.
