A demonstration that rai's journalists rate the players without seeing the matches, and I'm not joking. Before a milan match this season (the one where Dida has been sent off), sky showed the portable pc of a journalist at the stadium, that had a word document open with the rates of the players (If I remember well Dida had a 6,5 or so, there). Too bad that the game had still to be played :wallbang: )

Anyway,

http://www.raisport.rai.it/raiSportSezioneIndex/0,5785,_78_105_8695,00.html

Juventus (4-4-2): Chimenti 6, Birindelli 5.5 (39' st Blasi sv), Ferrara 6, Legrottaglie 5 (26' st Thuram 5.5), Iuliano 6, Olivera 5.5, Tacchinardi 6, Appiah 6, Nedved 6 (22' st Volpato 5.5), Zalayeta 5.5, Kapo 5. (22 Bonnefoi, 34 Masiello, 36 De Ceglie, 40 Bentivoglio). Allenatore: Capello 5.

Reading this, I'm happy to tell u, that Iuliano has been our best defender (with Ferrara) :D

well i saw the game, and i agree with raisport.. Iuliano was playing fine...!

Our 2nd team sucks.... :fero:
Juventus had chosen to rest several key players, including striker Alessandro Del Piero and goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, for the game in Bergamo.

They had still been expected to beat Atalanta, who occupy the opposite end of Serie A, but 19-year-old Lazzari tore up the form book in the 58th minute when he beat reserve keeper Antonio Chimenti from a tight angle.

With 15 minutes remaining, Juve midfielder Olivier Kapo skimmed a post but in the next move Lazzari doubled the home side's advantage, latching onto a pass by Igor Budan before firing in off the crossbar.

I saw the game too..
Here is my Oponion:
Legro was not bad, it was visible, that he does not have to much match practice..and at the end he was injuired.
Juliano: Terible(5)
Brindelli : Terible(5) I was wondering why pessoto was playing in the previous games, but now I know the reason.
Neddy: Cappello said after the game in the Interview, that there is no problem with him.

I don´t agree with Users who say, in the coppa we can lose. A team like juve should never lose. :(

wot terrible subs weve got :( I saw the game the only player that impresed me where ferrara nedved and kapo. oliviera did many silly mistakes, luliano - i hope he is sold, legro - just a common defender, tacchinardi and appiah mediocre damm, i hope we get new players soon.

Come on guys, we played with our reserves. IIRC, only Thuram, Blasi and Nedved travelled to Bergamo from our strating 11.

And Coppa is not that important either, so it's normal that Capello took about two or three primavera players for the atalanta.

If we really want to get to the quarter finals, we can do it. If we play with our first team, we can win them 2-0 or 3-0. In the league we won them 2-0 without doing too much.
But I don't think the Coppa is that important to Capello, to use his first team. So basically, we are virtually out of the Coppa.

We have to look to our match schedule if we want to field our 1st team

I was surprised to say the least when Capello played with a 3-5-2 setup with a 3 man defence made up of Legro, Ferrara, and Iuliano !! Capello played a midfield composed of Birindelli on the right, Olivera on the left, and Tacchinardi-Appiah in central midfield with Nedved given a free role. Zalayeta-Kapo upfront didn't threaten much and clumsily wasted the rare chances they were given.

Nedved and Chimenti were probably our best players, whereas Iuliano and Birindelli were our worst.

Olivera clearly plays better on the right side of midfield instead of the left where he always cuts in and then loses possession.

Tacchinardi-Appiah played well in the first half and dominated the midfield but slowly were losing their grip.

Kapo played well and tried his best but that wasn't enough, Zalayeta had an off night and was static most of the time but he was also deprived from the ball as the midfield didn't function well and didn't serve him with much chances.

The Coppa Italia isn't our top priority now, so elimination from this competition wouldn't hurt much as we still have the Champions League and Serie A to look forward to. I believe the Coppa has INTER written all over it anyway :D

Kapo did not play beside Zalayeta, he was behind him with nedved.... we played 3-4-2-1 , but it does not matter, it did not work.. I don´t like 3-players Defence.. we should play 4-3-1-2, 4-2-3-1- or 4-4-2.

I can see why these guys are bench warmers, because they all suck !!!!

This was the worst I've saw our Juve play in a long time....

No rhythm, no cohesion...its as if they have never played together before....

We lack depth, no doubt about it...

A few injuries and these jokers get to start ??? NO THANKS !!!!!!

We should sell Iuliano, Legro and a few others and get what little money we can , and Juve could use the few dollars we receive to gas up the team bus...,......

Not all of them suck. I believe Tacchinardi, Kapo, Olivera and Zalayeta are not bad players, They had a bad game.

Iuliano and Legrottaglie ... not Juve material.
Birindelli is a mistery, sometimes he's great and sometimes he is a flop
