Yeah and it doesn't look like we will be getting any new additions of that standard for a while.
that is why benitez will surely walk away in the summer, of course the boardroom struggle will play a part and the fact he was undermined but the worst part is he has the worlds most complete midfielder and one of eth worlds most potent finishers and a team around them that cannot lace their boots

It depends on if the board situation gets addressed before the summer. If Hicks is able to buy the club and get rid of Parry, Rafa will stay and finish out his contract. Hicks wants to offer an extension but I don't see Rafa taking it unless Hicks can prove stability in club finances for the foreseeable future. If anything else happens, I can see Rafa leaving. Which is the most likely possibility since I don't see Gillett selling to Hicks. It will be interesting to see who replaces Rafa if that happens.

personally i think the whole klinsmaan incident undermined rafa not only in the boardroom but in the dressing room, for that i believe he will walk. unless he gets concrete assurances about the reinforcement of the squad. doubt a contract extension is in his thoughts just now, that would cause its own problems as the winners of the boardroom struggle could view this non-committal as a reluctance to stay and then look for a replacement, thus undermining him again, thus causing him to walk.....

Poorly worded.

I meant there I no other games that I expect to end 0-0 as much as Liverpool v Chelsea games.
