Please, Orgut.

How is a player that will cost us somewhere in the region of 100 million achievable?
We found a way with Higuain didnt we?!

A.Sandro is probably leaving - thats 70M
SMS will probably cost 90M
Only by looking at this you can see its achievable..
Add Sturaro which Lazio like and it can be reduced even further..
Wages are definitely more achievable than other players at his level (Pogba for instance)

SMS is probably the only player that is one of the best in his position and might even prefer us to others not to mention that there might be no serious competition for him if we act this summer...
Im not saying he is cheap - Im saying that if we want him and are serious - we should be able to get him..

Take Griezmann for example - He is way less achievable.. You already know his price but there is Barca on his tail and probably other teams who can attract him more + His wages are going to be much more than what SMS will cost..

We spend 90 mil on Higuain and 30 mil on Pjanic after selling Pogba for 105 mil.

We can spend 100 mil on SMS after selling Sandro (who clearly doesn't want to be here) for 75 mil.
:agree:
Exactly

Do you need my help to find the variable that is extremely uncertain?

Marotta: 'Madrid changes nothing'
He is right. He doesn't mean that we won't change any players in the mercato. Simply, this defeat does not change the fact that we are doing the maximum and we should continue doing it until Messi and Ronaldo retire.
With a luckier draw we would have made the semis. Then, if we got Liverpool or Bayern, we might have made the final again. Last year, had we got Real in the quarters, we would have been eliminated. Every season, at least one of Barca or Real is simply unbeatable. We can't fight them. Richer teams are trying even harder than us (PSG took Neymar from Barca; City investing just as heavily; United are buying superstars) and they don't do better than Juve, because Messi and Ronaldo are not letting you to do any better.

Taking the last two defeats vs Madrid as an end of an era, and then do a complete turnover, will most probably do us more harm than good. We should just keep going as we're going.

:agree: To a certain extent :D However, not exactly as we are going, because that despicable policy of selling our best players has to stop, eventually!

Well our net spend this Summer was around 20M euros, if you really want to try and beef that price up it's 40M for 1/2 of Costa but he wasn't even an obligation to begin with

I certainly don't think we're doing 'all we can' after the final in Cardiff we weakened our CB position, weakened our full back position and spent almost nothing despite us usually making more in CL revenue alone than any other club because we absorb most of the usual failed 3rd Serie A teams CL money.
