You think Sevilla will finish above City? The way City have been playing the last couple of years in CL it wouldn't be surprising, but still. City are really good at the moment. Such a shame we're meeting them away in two weeks. 
But yeah, I really hope we don't need to get points in the last away game. But knowing us, that will definitely end up being the case.

Sevilla, it had to be. I suppose we are a goal down already in one of those two games, because Lion is bound to score against us. Either him or Minecraft head.
Nice tough group, so we have to look to win all home games. City generally flop when you put pressure on them, but they are just buying quality all the time and the tournament is always difficult. Sevilla will be tough. Borussia MG potentially the same, more Germans, fun.
United as usual getting a piss easy draw. Honestly, when was the last time they had more than one moderately difficult opponent in any group stage? It must be a decade ago.

It's hard to say how good Sevilla will be in attack without Bacca. He was absolutely immense for them last year. It will be interesting to see how Immobile does, and Konoplyanka for that matter in replacing those goals.
City looks scary this year. I think that team has finally found a good balance, and figured out how to sign players that will actually improve their team rather than just adding shiny new toys at positions they are already stacked in.

They certainly lost two of their best players from last season. As did we, so it will be interesting to see which team gels faster with the turnover. I see us as slightly stronger, but we haven't yet really addressed one of our most pressing needs in the mercato, so a lot depends on how our mercato finishes and what formation we end up using this year.

Man City make audacious £100m bid for Man Utd’s Champions League group
Manchester City have made an audacious £100m bid for Manchester United’s Champions League group, claiming those fixtures are all it requires to reach the knockout stages of this year’s competition.
The move comes after City were drawn with Juventus, Sevilla and Borussia Monchengladbach, a difficult situation which the club are keen to throw some more money at.
Man City owner Sheikh Mansour said, “We see United’s fixtures against PSV and Wolfsburg to be just what this club needs to take it to the next level, and we’re willing to back the manager to make that a reality.”
“We will not be held to ransom, but if our manager wants it, we will open our chequebook and start writing a number with lots of zeros.”

Pellegrini told reporters, “Obviously Manchester United has a highly desirable fixture list, and maybe it is not right for me to talk about another club’s fixtures, but we would like these games at the City of Manchester stadium, for sure.”
However Manchester United are set to reject any approach.
A United spokesperson told us, “We’ve worked hard on UEFA for twenty years now to ensure we get an easy group year on year, and we have no intention of selling that – no matter what price they offer.”
