Messi is just on a different level. He's simply too good. Honestly, I wouldn't even talk about the final right now, we're still underdogs. The only thing that changed between now and 2 days ago is that we have a better chance than bayern in getting to the final. Other than that, it's shaping up to be Real vs Barca, as expected.

IF we do manage to beat Real, then yes, we do have a good chance against Barca for the simple reason that the only teams that I think can knock out this team at the moment are Juventus, Atheltico Madrid, and maybe Chelsea. Either one of those teams can really frustrate Barca, and our advantage is that we have attacking quality that's more impressive than the other two teams. If we make it to the final, it will be a befitting one, because if anyone can get the job against Messi and co, it's the Old Lady.
Fuck messi
we are juve we can destroy any team

Even Vieri said that Benatia was best CB in Serie A.
He is great. Hold him and Barzagli in similar regard. He has clearly been outperforming Chiellini for years now. Bonucci shouldnt even be mentionned in comparison, this year is his best one is his career and doesnt reach Benatia's standard.

Any comments on Götze that faggot? Good choice moving from Dortmund to bayern to become a player without confidence who can not even once beat his man or even try. I am sure pep subbed him in for those nice back passes from the wing because he has no clue what to do

Benatia had a beast year at Roma, in that season he was defenitely the best CB in Serie A, perhaps sharing the honour with Barzagli.

Since then however, he's fallen off, especially in terms of consistency, at least that's what every one of my Bayern fan friends tell me. Barzagli on the other hand has been among the top for 4 years straight now.

Put a knee in neymars back on the very first occasion, and grab a yellow

kick Messi off the field. The red card is not a problem

put chiellini on Suarez

See Barcelona fall apart despite beeing a man up

We are supposed to be the team so ruthless to consider such tactics. Lets be fans that are worthy of supporting such a team
Or what actually happens is we go down to 9 men, concede 2 penalties and we're remembered in history as the team of thugs who got anally pumped in the final and raped our own global reputation in the process.

Yeah no thanks.

Its important to remember where we come from, and that we cant dine with a 10bill in a 100dollar restaurant :sergio:

Chance your username to "Antonio's hair"
way to ignore my argument. He was brilliant in setting up barca the way he did. His problem is that he made that his plan for any team that he coaches.

Its the same way Conte was brilliant in setting up Juve the way he did. But if he carries the 3-5-2 and imposes it on every squad he gets to coach regardless of their attributes then he is just as limited as Pep.

An absolute genius would grow a great system out of the players at his disposal. Pep did that once.. but doesnt seem to be able to do it again. We will find out if Conte is the same when he gets his next coaching job or if Italy suddenly develop great wingers and strikers so that the best formation would be attack based like the current barca is.

Despite already having his career defining moment in the WC final I am still not sure what Gotze actually offers a team that's so brilliant. Everybody gelled at Dortmund and they had it going great. A lot of them after leaving the perfect little world of BVB have not impressed me or anybody else really.

Bayern fans are spoilt, he has been plagued with injuries, but has seen no issues with his defending when healthy.

Pep's system is difficult for any defender. It leaves players very open to counter attacks if the midfield had a bad passing day.

Simple guide to seeing if a defender will or will not succeed in a Pep team to the best of their abilities

Are they considered as particularly fast players?

Are they considered as particularly great distributers of the ball?

If the answer to both questions is 'No' then even a great CB will not turn heads when he's trying to instigate attacks or he's trying to beat Messi in a 1v1 sprint to the goal.

I never really cared for Messi but what he did to Boateng. Holy fucking balls.
He has done that countless amount of times before in his career (the finish is another matter), trademark move, to the point that I was watching the game with 5 others, and 4 of them yelled out this will be a goal just before he even got the ball since Boateng was alone with him. Very few players can be so consistent 1-1 that you know they will just breeze by any defender if left alone with him.
