Modric sucked today aswell. However Dortmund play some absolutely divine football, I'd put my money on them beating Barca they've looked the best team in the competition so far.

Everybody underestimated shaktar, we didnt lose, chelsea did, and next time, they'll be happy if they can manage a draw

The danes, an easy win ?

tell me more how they didnt domminated shaktar and chelsea for the majority of the game, only to lose it in the final quarter.

Iaquinta up top ? werent you one of those complaining about the lack of a quality striker up front ?
What? I'm saying Norsjealland should've been easy to beat even if we had played Iaquinta up top.

Serie A won't improve until most teams get new stadiums. On the field, I feel like the league is still a good tactical league though.

If Milan didn't decide to sell their best players the league would be a lot different this season. But because they did, and because Udinese were just happy to get to the playoffs of the CL, Serie A has taken a step back from last season.

I hope Napoli and Inter make the CL alongside us next season. With Roma, Lazio and Fiorentina getting the EL spots.

I hope next season we can play like Dortmund has been playing this season. Bundesliga shits over Serie A from a great height now.
For me, dortmund is doing exactly what we will do next year. very solid base, genious trequartista, quality flanks.

Give isla, asamoah, licht and giovinco a year to develop and mature, they'll be doing what Reus and Blazczykowski are doing

gotze is pretty ahead on vucinic lol, but our midfield is far better

thing is, if, and we should,, get a striker thats better then lolwandowksi, we are the better team.

Modric sucked today aswell. However Dortmund play some absolutely divine football, I'd put my money on them beating Barca they've looked the best team in the competition so far.
I hope dortmund wins the CL this year. I adore their fancy but resultbased attacking playstyle, supported by a very solid base. like the great juve sides

Thought BVB-Real Madrid was pretty crap.

BVB made fewer mistakes and coped with the greasy pitch better, so they won the game, but there wasn't much good football on show.

Real Madrid really suffered due to the injuries they've got.

It was comparatively easy for BVB to close Ronaldo down because Essien wasn't getting up and providing a threat on that flank to draw a player away from Ronaldo and give him the space to influence the game.

BVB pretty well bossed the centre of midfield against Alonso and Modric - who really didn't control the tempo of the game as well as you would expect them too. Obviously they were pretty vulnerable through that area of the pitch due to the lack of muscle they had in there.

Pretty amusing that the English seem to be focused on Mancini switching to 3-5-2 out of all the things they could look at from Ajax-Man City.

I gather they played 3-5-2 for all of about five minutes and conceded the third goal during that time.

The fact that Man City were already losing the game at that point, having played with a back four for the rest of the game, seems to be being overlooked.
